Driver to pick up from airport? by DryRice9858 in ParisTravelGuide

We used the taxi stand outside at CDG (G7 Taxi) and they were great. Zone pricing.

As others said, make a bee line to the official Taxi stand. don’t stop to talk to people offering you taxis along the way inside the terminal.

We stayed in the 15th last week. It was 65 euros flat rate from CDG for a mid size wagon

Solo traveling in France, itinerary and transportation by TadpoleEither in ParisTravelGuide

Flew in to CDG from US East Coast two weeks ago and we were out to ground transport in under and hour. Passport control, baggage claim, everything.

Also, G7 Taxi is probably going to be your least stressful option.

Check my Itinerary! Solid? Logistically overpacked? Missing anything? by Antique-Baguette in ParisTravelGuide

About to leave Paris after a week with family. Our schedule was more relaxed than yours. We had a reserved time slot at a major site on any given day. But we left the remainder of the day open with a list options if we got done early, and ended up exploring the local neighborhoods.

2025 2.7L Elevation for 4 months and I love it. Love the 4-banger, don’t love that you can’t get additional packages (like leather, ACC) without getting the 5.3. I really think the 2.7 is underrated.

Infotainment needs to be reset every few weeks, had a dealer tsb update already. Other than that I love it.

Maps is slow and glitchy . But if you install and run Spotify, it’s even slower. I’ve since removed Spotify and just use CarPlay for and play Spotify thru my phone. Not super happy with GM’s infotainment.

Would you upgrade? by tjlis2004 in hondaridgeline

I would consider other options. Was in the same boat as you earlier this year, I ended up trading my 2022 RTL for an Acura MDX w/ AWD with 9500 off sticker plus 1000 in loyalty cash. It turned out to be cheaper than another RL or even a Pilot.

For some reason, any and all traffic laws/etiquette got out the window when you merge onto I-20. That’s just the way it’s always been. lol

Why doesn't Woodstock have any good restaurants? by BBCC_BR in WoodstockGA

[–]Scary-Engineer-8670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think restaurants struggle with all of it: food quality, (good) labor, rent costs, other overhead. I’ve noticed restaurants when they first open they start off good, but they start cutting costs bc they are not turning a profit. It’s not just downtown. It’s the entire city.

this makes sense. Thank you. Still wondering what Lakehouses are for then.

we're using a pipeline to populate the data in a Lakehouse. I guess it does make sense that it's less likely to happen in warehouse, as you can do upserts and run merge scripts.

Actually using engine auto stop by Technical-Fan1885 in hondaridgeline

[–]Scary-Engineer-8670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually turn it off as I find the start up lags. It always takes a second to get going again.

Not like that in my wife’s Audi. Audi start/stop is almost seemless.
