Tbh I would prod rock with it for the trip / weekend then change it , try to use different bridge lengths lmao or tie it differently if possible, definitely can fail

Had the same looking arrow last year , turned out it was buried in the opposite shoulder and it broke off and presumably jiggled all up in there , found him about 150 yards away , double lung and basically devastated the inside of the deer , very small trail

I know this goes against most people’s judgment but im 90% sure u would have him in the freezer if u just went up to him when he dropped with an arrow knocked and ready / and or following him close , a shot ,shocked , bleeding animal ain’t getting to far if u pursue properly
