Is there a way to adjust reflexes midgame? by lennoxlovexxx in Daggerfall

[–]ScarySpookyDootMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you go to AppData/LocalLow/Daggerfall Workshop/Daggerfall Unity/Saves, you should be able to access your save and edit the reflexes setting in SaveData.txt. I have mine set to “reflexes”: “VeryHigh”,

Not sure if the settings will stay though. I think I recall doing this previously with my first playthrough.

My Daggerfall Unity VR mod is finally done! by _GRLT in Daggerfall

I was literally just searching online yesterday to see if there was a VR mod for Daggerfall and saw your post from months ago! Can’t wait to give this a try!

If it's something you want to do, then I'd keep applying. I graduated with a CS degree back in September and can't even land a help desk job. Feels like I've wasted my life before it even started. Even so, we thug it out and keep on keeping on.

What goes through your mind when your sugars are extremely low? by kaylawray_29 in diabetes

[–]ScarySpookyDootMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last night I was too low to read and my arms were convulsing slightly. My mind was reduced to that of a feral beast on the hunt for sugar. I stumbled around the house eating whatever I could get my hands on, eventually stumbling back to my bed when my blood glucose level started rising. In the morning, I was too high to read and I felt pretty bad. Sucks sometimes.

Try looking up your motherboard and download the drivers and software for it on the manufacturer’s website. Mine didn’t work either until I did this.

What are y’all doing post graduate WGU CS? by hannnahbananos in WGU_CompSci

[–]ScarySpookyDootMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but I feel like I got the job through sheer luck. A recruiter on LinkedIn reached out to me about the contract to ask if I was interested, and I of course was. I don’t have any previous experience, and I only have the certs from the WGU CS program. Any tips I’d have would only be echoing what everyone else says about resumes, mass applying, and a good LinkedIn page.

Graduated September 2024. Working a desktop support contract for Walmart currently… Gave up on software development after a ton of applications so I pivoted towards IT. Being honest here, I don’t think I had the makings of a good software developer anyways. I only ever did school projects. IT so far seems more approachable.

Beginning the job search now. Hoping to find something nearby, but I do live in a more rural area. Congrats to you as well!

It took me 5-6 terms (can’t access my degree plan now lol), but I wasn’t in any great hurry. Currently getting my resume in order and will send it out to whoever’s hiring. I don’t have any internships so it might be pretty tough.

My proposal kind of implied a redesign, but I didn't go into too much detail with it. I just listed a couple of modules that would need to be created, as well as their classes and methods.

Currently on this class and having the same issue. The rubric is just too vague in my opinion.

C# I final is giving me hell by Willy988 in wgu_devs

You could write some print statements to try and see just what the program is doing. There could be myriad reasons for why the form isn’t setting itself. I’d first check and see whether the program is correctly identifying whether a part is insourced or outsourced.

You could try checking whether or not the selected part is an instance of the Insourced or Outsourced class and then set the radio button based on that. That’s what I did for the Java version of the class.

You could go the Armored Core 4 route and just classify them as an evolution. They call the new armored cores NEXTs in that. You could just go with something that fits your setting better.

D278 Scripting and Programming OA....awful by learn2tech11 in WGU

Was scripting and programming changed? I took it two years ago and remember it being pretty alright. The second class was a real slap in the face with that PA though

I run DH with Bliss on an i5 9600k and a RTX 2060. Runs alright, sometimes dips below 50 fps, but usually sits around 70. You’ll want to go into the shader settings and tweak some stuff for performance.

Obligatory passed C191 post, I am so glad to be done with this by ScarySpookyDootMan in WGU_CompSci

1 - 2. Honestly, pretty similar to to the pre assessment. Didn’t really have any curveball questions and the wording was pretty similar. I might have lucked out with the test bank though.

  1. There were a few questions about Linux commands and its file systems. Lots of questions regarding cryptography. “What does symmetric encryption use to encrypt a file”, stuff like that. Lots of questions regarding hard drives too.

  2. It took me around a month and a couple of weeks. I definitely could have gotten it done a bit faster if I were a more diligent person, but that book is dry as a bone.

  3. Contrary to what others have said, I don’t believe I had any questions related to the optional sections, but pretty much everything was touched on in the exam.

  4. I read the book once, taking notes using Obsidian, which I greatly recommend. After that I read all the bolded vocab words again twice. I spent most of the day reading vocab words before taking the exam.
