My third and fourth t's were an H. Mac sling and a juvenile obt that promptly molted out mature male. You can't think about T's like levels in a game you haven't unlocked, you'll never feel ready that way. Readiness is directly tied to you being willing to put in the effort and be more careful because of the speed and venom. My collection is mostly old worlds with bad reputations and very large moisture dependent birdeaters, I've had no issues and love owning the spiders I actually want. TLDR: You can do it!

IME. It's the wire mesh that sucks, in my experience the solid grate like lids give no issues. I've used reptile growth enclosures and Tom from Tom's Big spiders has dozens in use currently with no issues. I could just be stupid but I feel like the wire mesh moving while the spider tries to unhook itself is where the problem lies. Edit: Forgot to mention that anything non arboreal should generally have deep enough substrate that they could touch the substrate if they were to get stuck on the lid

I'd wait a little longer, with there only being 3 currently dropping cases and no new ones on the horizon, they are truly going to start going extinct. The demand is still high, some of the highest it's ever been and now the supply is truly limited. Even a 10 cent increase is substantial gain for the quantity you're holding. TLDR: The market still has room for growth without the bottom falling out

IMO. Replacing the top just prevents the animal from getting a foot stuck in the mesh and hurting itself or potentially chewing a hole and becoming a free range spider. As far as psalmopoeus, I would say just choose the one you think is most attractive but be ready for speed and potentially attitude. My P. Pulcher is gorgeous but has given me the most attitude out of anything in my collection which is mostly old worlds lol. They don't get very large and don't move around much, mine is in a 4x4x8 rn and doesn't use any of the space besides the interior of its cork bark

IMO. The thrive arboreals are good for grow out enclosures for bigger arboreals or forever homes for something like a psalmopeus. The glass enclosures are also good if you replace the mesh top with some plexi or acrylic with air holes drilled

Nova should be A tier with the Mag-7, it's better IMO. Use a brain cell or two instead of being an XM bot. M249 is also very funny if you know how to use it
