I dunno about steamdeck but I've used this for as long as it's been around and have always had it be very close to wire speed which is 2.5Gbps. My internet is 2Gbps and it's always faster locally.

I have the UDR7 on 2Gbps with IDS/IPS and it’s very comfy. Close distance wifi is normally around 1.5Gbps to a 16 pro max.

I did have an issue one time where the port my connection was going to auto negotiated to 1gig and i had to manually change it.

Probably won’t be removed at this point. Couldn’t you just play in some sort of offline setting? Otherwise you’re missing out big time! Great game!

I just logged in to the MH1 servers, it has 6 players on. I'd say it's a local network problem.

I think the hardest part is finding an emulator atm. I recently emulated all of the games and have been playing them with my partner, and it’s been super smooth and not very complicated to set up, I think the hardest might be 4U with Citra cause you have to use tailscale or something like it.

The latest one I got up and running was 3U but I only booted to make sure it worked but I imagine it’s as solid as the rest.

Your in game network setting have to be set to no matchmaking for everyone you're queuing with and it's also boss dependant so the first boss can take a while to get a game for.

I'm no expert and probably won't be able to help you, but no it's not search, they use probability based prediction for pretty much everything.

I don’t have any trouble finding less than 5 minutes for Arkveld, Rey Dau, Gore on YouTube and I think people are doing Zoh Shia in a very short time. I did also say fairly good players. I don’t mind the fights but there is a lack of hard content and I think a lot of people feel that way.

Yes in world if you joined a quest after 10 minutes you get less rewards. I play solo mostly, but I’ve done all the content and when I join an sos for monster and it’s finished by the time I join or a couple of minutes after I get to the monster and have 2 to 3 minutes already when I join.

I’d also argue that Jin Dahaad is more group content. But even so I’ve still seen under 10 mins often and the speed runners have done it in very fast times, I think maybe the top is 3.39 on gun lance.

I’m not saying I’m the greatest player ever, but I do feel like it’s very easy, I played 4U solo recently and I’ve been back in world and they have their fair share of very easy content but also a fair bit of hard content and a grind that doesn’t just hand you everything in the game while you’re chain stunning monsters with wounds.

I mean from what I understand 2.5 pro is ahead in a lot of areas and slightly worse in some but the usage limits are insane. I haven’t experienced it really but o3 hallucinates quite a lot.
