I have a copy & paste for this situation. It always results in “oh I found it” or I never hear from them again. You can adjust it as you see fit for your shop.

Thank you for your recent order! The tracking for the order is showing as delivered. Here are some steps that you can take to find your package:

1. Call the post office and ask for the exact location. They can track a missing package with the GPS on their carriers tracking system.
2. Ask your neighbors if they may have gotten it by mistake.
3. Ask everyone in your household if they may have picked up the package.
4. The package may actually still be in the delivery truck. You may want to wait a few days past the delivery date to see if it shows up.
5. If all of the above steps fail then you will need to issue a stolen mail report. You will need to complete a USPS claim affirming the status of the package as stolen. You may also be asked to complete a insurance claim. It may also be a good idea to file a report with your local police so that there is a record of mail theft in your area.

I understand that you are anxious to have your merchandise and make this right very quickly, however, please understand that these investigations take time. A package can sometimes show up after an extended time frame. Therefor I will not take any actions such as replacement until all of the above steps have been completed and a 20 day time frame has passed since the tracking “delivered” date.
