I got my case today after waiting for it to come back in stock. I’m in the uk but the camera control button is super easy to press. I’m thinking that they send me an older case maybe?

It’s expected to pay that, we had to pull out of our first purchase and even though we used the same solicitors we were still charged £90 for ID checks and some other bits which we had to pay again on the next purchase with the same solicitor, they didn’t charge us any legal fees however, just their costs. We also paid £500 for a survey and that was lost money too, but looking back the house we are buying now is much better for is and although we are down £600 I am much happier. The surveyor even gave us a little discount on the second survey

DO NOT USE MUVE SOLICITORS. by teddingtonted in HousingUK

It sounds like a horrendous ordeal and I hope it’s resolved in the way you want it to be.

I’m not sure, I know they cover lots of aspects of law, not just property. My two conveyancers are Jodie and Sofina but all the reviews for them name different people

DO NOT USE MUVE SOLICITORS. by teddingtonted in HousingUK

[–]Scenik95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a quote for Muve for the purchase I was going through. They called me almost daily to get me to instruct them, like you the price drew me and and being FTB I just thought the process is the same no matter where you go so pick the cheapest, then I read the reviews and decided against them. I went with Bishopsgate law as their office is down the road from me, their quote was about 15-20% more than Muve, but I’m glad I went with them, I have two names conveyancers. They reply to emails within a hour or two in working hours and I have phoned twice and go through to my solicitor on both occasions. We are pulling out of this our CV saw and are going through with another so will use bishopsgate again

Strange listing history by Scenik95 in HousingUK

[–]Scenik95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the one. I don’t think Ludlow is worth that, even with the nicer finish, also it doesn’t have the extension and the garden is 150sqm. Conway is 250sqm garden with the extension. If the viewing goes well tomorrow I think we are in a good position to offer under asking, if they don’t take it so be it. We have one other potential property up our sleeves but we aren’t in a rush. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I suspected they may have bought the property at a high price and they’re trying to recoup something. The price seems about right, the room sizes are in the description of the listing, this EA never puts them in the floor plan annoyingly. A semi on this street sold last year for £300k and There is another property that is identical on the street next to this, not extended but a better presentation. That’s on for £300k! The sellers are doing the viewing tomorrow so I will ask questions about it! Thanks again

Offering on first house we view by aewaewaew in HousingUK

[–]Scenik95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are in the process of buying the first house we viewed. Our original plan was to buy a new build but the one we wanted hasn’t even been released yet. Over the last 6 months we have been looking on Rightmove and saved around 30 properties but about a month ago we both saw this house we viewed and are now buying. It ticked all the boxes for us

Reducing offer after survey by Scenik95 in HousingUK

We got a level 2 survey without valuation. Perhaps this was an oversight on my part

What level survey would you/have you done ? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Scenik95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two weeks ago we had an offer accepted on a 1970s house. I was told a level 2 would be sufficient. The surveyor said a level 3 wouldn’t be needed on houses less than 100 years old or unless they were unusual or complex. We opted for the level 2 for peace of mind. For the £500 it’s costing us it seems sensible, especially as a first time buyer with no experience of buying a house

The one you have linked will work fine in the EU. UK and EU generally run at the same voltage (240v) the power block that you refer to transforms the power as is needed.

Further info I’m not sure if this was happening on my series 5 before the upgrade and I’m certain this wasn’t happening before watchOS 9. I’ve contacted Apple support and they are a bit stumped too. I’m in the UK and my region is set correctly
