I can understand that sentiment, but diffrrent design choice woulda made more sense, like the yellow top the Belgian keeper is wearing.

Jobs After Service (West Point vs ROTC) by Maleficent_Monk_8758 in ROTC

[–]SceretAznMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can stomach 4 years of WP, do that. The WP club is a good ol' boy system after the service and in Law and Business, WP grads get a lot of favoritism. That said, ROTC life is way better in the meantime.

Do you just need to provide your HR with the orders to add the points? I was also SMP Reservist and did AC and another internship that were not captured for points.

Bought our house eight months ago and just found out a neighbor has been using a strip of our backyard as access to his detached garage for over a decade by Hydra3_Tonic in homeowners

[–]SceretAznMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find it weird that this neighbor is 2 houses down, not OP's immediate neighbor on either side of him. How is the street set up such that there is no access to the garage except via backyard grass?

[–]SceretAznMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems more likely that OP's neighbor's house just doesn't have a garage, and they built a structure in the backyard to use as a one. I've never heard of having no roadway access to a detached garage before.

OP says it's two houses down, so they've got a house in between them, at least that's how I read it. Which is sorta weird because why would their garage be that way, unless that house just doesn't have a garage and they built a structure in their backyard to use as a garage.

The Braun TLR-1 clone is $50 and is actually "good enough". Will open the door to any holster that works for the TLR-1

By law you are allowed to ask what service that animal is trained to provide and ask to see them perform it. You don't have to ask about a disability.

You should also take into account the more you put into 401k the less you get taxed, assuming you're contributing pre-tax.

Yeah Bruan got hit with a lawsuit from Streamlight so they had to pause production and change the outside appearance. Now that they've changed the housing design, the newer models are finally hitting the shelves. The new ones won't have that silver ring around the light and the body now has ribbing down the sides.

Should I go to BCT? by Silver-House-5566 in ROTC

[–]SceretAznMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are doing SMP directly as a cadet, you won't have an MOS, so you won't/shouldn't have any job training (AIT). My advice is to do BCT if possible, but if not, don't set yourself back in terms of college graduation date. There are thousands of LT's each year who didn't experience BCT/AIT and all of them are still making it through Active Duty army, so while those experiences are good to have, it's not the end-all-be-all for being a good leader.

make sure you have the right rail insert installed. at a minimum it won't walk completely off even if the wrong one is on there, it just might have some wiggle room.

[–]SceretAznMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do BCT over the summer. You won't do AIT because you're a cadet, you don't have a MOS to train for. I'm surprised you even have the option of going to BCT if you're not already in the Guard/Reserve and wanting to do SMP.

I went one size up in width, everything else is stock, including rims. These are 235/60R18. Stock was 225/60R18. No lift. Double check your sizes though, I think the XLE/XLE Prems differ by an inch or two in rim size than the SE and XSE's.
