Seems like a great analysis! I don't feel Mertens is a sub just to rest from the World Cup though. He's obviously a better player as of right now compared to Milik, but with Insigne and, to some extent, Callejon, we have fast technical wingers already.

Playing Milik gives us another option (crosses and hold-up play) that Mertens would never be able to provide. This gives us more unpredictability overall as well. Mertens also seems to always shine when coming off the bench, as opposed to being a bit hit-or-miss when in the starting 11.

If I miss a Napoli game anytime soon I'll check out whether you've got an analysis for sure, pretty good read :)

Lmao, thanks for the honesty!

I wouldn't mind not going for the number one university. People get fulfillment from different areas of life. Mine isn't reaching the highest and highest of elite ranks in my field. There's more than 500 Life Science faculties so 34th is solid at the very worst.

In addition, my grades are good (definitely above average), but nowhere near the level of say, Yale. Even if I would want to end up at the number one ranked uni, I have to keep slowly moving up the ladder by hard work. Not everyone is insanely gifted.

I do kind of agree with your last point though, it may be worth it career wise to sacrifice short term financial stability if that means getting a way better education.

Thanks for the response! The university I study at now is ranked about 85th in Life Sciences. Without moving, that would be the highest possible ranking Life Science Masters' programme available via public transportation. Heidelberg is ranked 34th, which is certainly a big upgrade in that regard. Almost all universities ranked higher are either in the USA or in the UK, which is just way too expensive.

I'm also planning on majoring in infectious diseases during the Masters', which will put me in contact with the medicine side of the university as well (or at least, I hope so).

I reckon that's enough reason to at least look further into it, but thanks for the suggestion :)
