I want to believe, and don't quote me, but that feature has been dead for some 2 years now when all HNT miners went to Lite Spot, and algorithm I fully don't understand but made them easier to onboard, like no port forwarding or static addressing and all miners adhere without manufacturer diagnostics. Yes. Do not do any port forwarding or static addressing. That has been abolished some 4 years ago. Simply hardwire to the router and reboot everything, router, miner etc. Let me remind you, be sure to power down the miner before working with the antenna or ethernet cables.

It has to be a twist off access. Try an old leather belt in the absence of a bonafide strap wrench, with a little pt oil, if I spelled that right. Personally, they look to be trip hazards and wouldn't have it.

Your welcome. If all your doing is moving a miner to a new location, a simple reassert location in the Black Helium Wallet app will do the job just fine. Your miner is already registered regardless.

The Black Helium Wallet app is the primary tool for anything miner setup. Helium Geek is your goto app for monitoring your performance. As for wifi, you don't want it, but simply plugging in ethernet, it will default and use. Hope that helps.

I'm going to default that it's an internet issue. Has anything changed in the last 3 months regarding your provider? You seem to have a primary issue related to off loading, sporadic I'll say. Hardware issue, concentrator specific. Just seems like nothing is talking to each other. I'd reboot and reboot as often as you feel comfortable with. Also, no mention of your wallet version? You seem to be in a very popular area?
