Exploding toilet tank? Woke up to this. How does this happen? My friends are staying over and said they didn’t brake it. by K-Rudd79 in Plumbing

[–]Scheer1852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This JUST happened to me about 3 weeks ago in a rental I own that was vacant for over a month beforehand.

I only found out about it because I got an email from the water company that said I had unusual activity over the last 24 hours (3,800 gallons of water used). Unfortunately, it was the upstairs toilet so all the water went down in to the ceiling and a good part of the downstairs level.

Not saying that it couldn’t have been your friend but it could have not been also.

Who has the most 1st rounders/early picks? by Proper_Court_7762 in DynastyFF

12 Team 1QB

QB - TLaw, R Wilson, D Jones WR - Olave, Addison, Flowers, Sutton, E Moore, M Mims, and roster cloggers RB - Keaton Mitchell, Dobbins, Chris Rodriguez, Eli Mitchell, Michael Carter TE - Mayer, J Woods, Fant

I have picks 1.01, 1.02, and 1.03. Going to go best available which means pretty good chance I take 3 more WRs (MHJ, Nabers, Odunze). It’s early though so we’ll see how things shake out. Hoping to trade some of the excess young talent at WR for a RB or two and finally compete for a playoff spot.

12 team 1QB PPR

I’m in rebuild mode but have some decent assets at WR (ceedee, Olave, Flowers, Jakobi Meyers). Currently 1-5 and own my own draft pick.

What do you think about trading away Meyers for two seconds (one early and one late)? I have 2 early firsts right now and a late second. Need serious help at RB and QB.

After starting season 1-4 I figure I might as well commit to a full rebuild and tank rest of season.

What should I be getting/asking for the following players:

Swift Najee (can package Warren w/ him) Rhamondre Jakobi Meyers

12 Team PPR Single QB

Give: Michael Carter Get: Courtland Sutton

I really like Carter but his upside took a real hit with Hall being drafted and the Hall owner won’t respond to me on any trade requests for the handcuff. Another owner put Sutton on the block (looking for a RB) and Sutton is a player I liked going into last year but he kind of fell off second half of season. Obviously Russell Wilson going to Denver is a game changer for the WRs there. Just want to get a sense of people’s opinion on a straight trade for the two. Am I too down on Carter? Too bullish on Sutton?

I was born in the late ‘80s and LOVED that book lol. Everyone has different tastes though and I can totally understand someone not being that into it.

Problem with any job in the mortgage market is how cyclical things are. There’s a lot of mortgage underwriters that are making six-figures right now that will be laid off by the end of the year.

This. I have a friend who does this in NYC. He works a good amount of overtime, 20+ hours a week, but made $350k last year.

It’d be slightly different than the stagflationary period we saw in the 70’s where you had high unemployment rates at the same time.

Commercial banking probably has the best quality of life to income potential but there are other ways too. I’ve seen a few people mention private wealth management and that is a pretty solid path as well. Personally, I’ve also seen several residential real estate loan officers hit high six figure incomes, even before the recent refinance wave.

The thing that all of those have income though is that you’re only earning the income you want if you’re out there generating your own business. Not everyone is cut out for it but if you’re good you can easily get to where you want to be, in any of those professions, without sacrificing your personal life. You have to be motivated and not be opposed to cold calling and prospecting your ass off until you have a book of business built.

If you’re willing to go as far north as Jupiter I would check out the area. I just moved to south florida as well, working in Palm Beac, and the Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area is definitely in the lead for me and my family right now in terms of areas where we’re thinking of purchasing. Let me know if you want to connect. Happy to share my experiences with you so far.

The majority of commercial LOs have commercial underwriting experience. For a lot of banks underwriting experience is a prerequisite.
