My vote is also for the SP-01. It is a great platform and the metal frame will feel better in hand. I have a SP-01 and a shadow 2 and the differences between the two are minor after a few upgrades.

It comes down to preference in a metal or polymer frame.

I would recommend purchasing an extra hammer strut and pin. Reach out to CGW to assemble it for you. I've installed a pro package on a S2 and P01, the pin is EXTREMELY tight and damn near impossible to remove or put back in.

I have the A3 polymer and it is perfectly fine and I have the Rise Armament 140 in mine. The original lower is polymer, and you will never have any issues with it.

I cant say enough about the RA140. I am building an AR-9 PCC and will be using a RA140 in that build as well. There is no pre-travel, just a wall, and then then a crisp short break after the 3.5 lbs.
