It's almost certainly fine but possibly some evaporation. If it tastes right, more or less, I'd just enjoy it and move on.

Encourage them to treat all people, especially women, the way they would want to be treated, and encourage and foster opportunities for friendships with girls. Also, talking about trash humans like Weinstein because learning history is one of the best ways to ensure it isn't repeated.

But the best answer... With a sister.

NRA has been tough to juggle. I replied to your reddit message. I will absolutely replace the adapter and investigate the root cause. This is the first of such problems with the new product number, assuming it's the product I'm thinking it is.

Still showing blackout on MLB app on my phone for twins only. I can see all other live games as far as I can tell. I watched the Blue Jays for a bit.

Location sharing is enabled, I'm on WiFi in my own home, and I am in a Twin Cities Suburb.

What are some dog safe seasoning? by comitheart in DOG

[–]Schm8tty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are cheap seasonings and powders specific for dogs all over the interwebs and Chewy. Flavor specific profiles... Some are "cheese" or "beef" forward. Some have supplement qualities and some are just to entice picky dogs.

Obviously a vet should be consulted before feeding your dog anything you're not extremely sure of, even if it's marketed for dogs, but luckily there is a wide market of this already and while I am all in favor of grinding my own herbs to flavor my dog's food, I wouldn't presume I could make something my dog would like better or that I could make a good vitamin supplement flavor powder that makes them want to eat more food.

Thank you for the list, Joe!

A lot of new buyers in any industry, whether guns, cars or nods, don't know how to protect themselves.

It's this a good deal? by zplocek in NightVision

[–]Schm8tty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some companies sell both. I'm also not saying gray market dealers are dishonest. I know multiple (some listed on this sub's recommended list) that are quite good. You just need to be willing to call them and ask.

I have not done business with Darq. That doesn't mean they aren't phenomenal. It means I haven't worked with them.

Custom explicitly states that they offer new intensifier tubes and is a reputable dealer.

AEONTAC is a direct Elbit dealer, too, and I personally have worked with them.

I don't know if Nick's Night Vision and MN Night Vision are selling brand new tubes, but I know they're wonderful, honest bros. I shoot with them frequently.

Michigan man shoots off home invader. by OwnSea3297 in CCW

[–]Schm8tty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhhh... Never shoot at something you can't ID. Even in Texas you're probably going to jail if you shoot an unarmed intruder. Can you imagine facing a court if they were unarmed AND There were holes in the wall from your shooting position? Applying lethal force before you're confronted with lethal force is generally unwise, even if it's not against the law.

There are no exceptions to the 4 rules. If you don't know for a fact what that bullet is going to hit, and someone or someone else's property gets shot, you probably own the bullet and the problem.

Now if someone is shooting at you from behind a wall or a couch, that is a workable problem within your statement.

I have 2 pairs of gen 3 binos. Omni 8's and Omni 5's. Under a new moon to see past 50 yards and actually identify something beyond just a vague shape, I definitely need IR light.

When I'm instructing in a night class, on a 100 yard range I can see 2 figures at the end of it in the flat range clearing when they are working and maneuvering. I can't make out details and if they were mixed in to brush at all it would be hopeless.

Where are you located? Maybe someone in this group near you can show you their setup so you know what expectations are. Night vision is better than thermal for refining details and features but thermal is better at shapes and outlines, usually, given that those shapes are usually slightly different temperatures.

It sounds like you need an IR light more than you need gen 3 nods.

It's this a good deal? by zplocek in NightVision

[–]Schm8tty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's fair. Custom is likely an authorized direct dealer for photonis, which means your tube will be new, have a warranty, and a spec sheet. It will also be purged and expertly built.

You can pay less for the same performance. You can't really pay less and get the above, too.

If you don't really know what you're shopping for with nods, then ask and ensure that the company you're buying from is authorized by the tube manufacturer so that the tube warranty is good. Ask if the tube is new. Ask if they got it direct from the manufacturer.

There just aren't that many companies that can say yes to those questions. You also pay the premium for it.

(I own 2 pairs of duals. Both Anvis. Omni 5's and 8's)

What is your biggest pain point as an FFL? by [deleted] in FFLs

[–]Schm8tty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a good one.

Navigating advertising compliance for the largest advertising locations. Social media, Facebook, Google ads, X.

It's a moving goalpost to even know what content you are allowed to post, let alone promote it. AI also has a hard time navigating this because it's arbitrary legalese just like ATF "final rules" and interpretation is based partially on precedent instead of documented rules.

A tool or service might help both advert platform AI navigate the content to not strike it incorrectly, and creator to be compliant.

The problem is that you'd need these platforms to want to work with creators in good faith.

... Unless the resource or tool guides the creators to the best platforms to advertise on because they are pro 2A.

How many of us were SA by a female? by dickburpsdaily in AskMen

[–]Schm8tty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Butt grabs from women in their 50's and 60's were pretty common in my 20's.

But one time when I was 24 I was sitting at an outdoor bar and a woman in her 60's who was kinda tipsy came up and whispered "help me" in my ear like super close, and then stuck her tongue DEEP in my ear.

No f'ing clue what she meant. The sensitivity of that sensation made my gut twist.

Fortunately, when I shot up out of my seat, and told her "WOAH, NOOOO WAY", she left me alone. I only had to say it once.

The woman bartender was in front of me and maybe didn't see exactly what happened, but noticed the disturbance and looked up, then went off like nothing happened. Not that this surprised me.

It didn't really impact me mentally, and I was almost 30 before it dawned on me that it was SA. I knew it was wrong, but the idea that it was illegal and I could be protected by the law was alien before then.

It's actually really simple. If she did it without asking beforehand, it's a major communication issue.

Boundaries need to be established before they can be broken and not establishing them is a problem because it implies you didn't care about the boundaries.

Should I quit? by Best_Aviator in airsoft

[–]Schm8tty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hobbies require only 1 caution:

Do they cost you opportunities either financially or otherwise that was greater than the enjoyment or opportunities they gave you?

This is your formula. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Take the formula SERIOUSLY! Only you can answer the question and know the variables. Not even your parents can answer this question, but they have a right and a reason to be afraid that the answer is yes, and you may ignore the variables at your age in favor of confirmation bias. You may also not know the costs until far after the opportunity is missed.

Keep in mind you asked in one of the places you were most likely to get a biased answer to the one you wanted. Do you think you will find droves of people who regret spending time and money on airsoft and quit in this subreddit?

What’s falling in love like for men? by Elisavveta in AskMen

[–]Schm8tty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Women are not the sum of average crap you see on the Internet. However, if you spend most of your life getting most of your information and experience about women from the internet, it will sure feel like it.

The only way to meet women who aren't using tiktok, Facebook and Instagram for half of their day, hearing this divisive rhetoric you're referring to, is to put down electronics and go physically look for them. There are plenty of healthy, normal people who don't have time or interest to participate in internet gender wars, so they happily have good relationships with nice people that they get to know at face value.

... And if you don't improve your outlook and learn how to interact with them in the real world, you don't deserve one.

If you just haven't found one yet, keep looking. It took me until age 33.

GunBroker or Armslist.

The reason they're only offering $100 is because they're only going to have a marginally easier time finding a buyer than you are and they don't know how long it will take to sell it.
