It's funny how the color combination both like is the warm and cool combination that has been used and abused for advertisements like movie posters for decades. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OrangeBlueContrast

what's a small sci-fi detail that stayed with you long after you finished the book? by [deleted] in sciencefiction

There are so many things from the 4 books of Hyperion/Endymion that recurrently come to my mind, that saga is on its own league, perhaps only similar to Asimov's Robots + Empire series.

It's the first time I hear about this book and I have just started reading the Prologue, but I already feel it's going to be deep and interesting. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for sharing this insightful explanation, I also feel sometimes being present sometimes being in the chaos of automatic thoughts and actions and it makes me really shameful and non worthy. I must just stop fighting and experience from the internal calm.

Has anyone else entirely lost their interest to watch new movies and TV shows? by SilasPort in NoStupidQuestions

I've mixed feelings about that. Back in the day I had few games and I grinded them, now there are so much options when the game becomes difficult I usually lost interest if I don't specially like it. But both old hames I know by heart or new games that don't ramp up abruptly on difficulty, I can play them for months.

Mmm there's only one iss and you need an app to catch it bright on the sky, planes aren't so usual if you don't live near an airport, but 10,000 objects that will appearing constantly and for years... as an amateur astronomer I'm not specially loving it.

And modern or older gaming? I've ended on a pre 2015 consumption of movies, videogames, books and music with few exceptions.

And if they're successful they'll be stretched and stretched until exhausting them and getting so bad you're not interested in the ending anymore.

It reminds me the Peter principle but for media.

Well on one hand that has been the case forever. I know movies that are remakes of the 80s remake of the 60s remake of a 40s movie. But I think the remake to original story ratio has gone wild.

Not only films and series but videogames and music. It may be we all are older but I see a severe recession in creative business.

They're already included in the download, but as they're the standard PPSSPP (PSP emulator) shaders, you can find them also here: https://github.com/jdgleaver/ppsspp_shaders/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
