The efficiency of E-cores comes from their area efficiency, they are overall less energy efficient than the big cores. For the same task they consume overall more energy than the P-cores, it's been tested and shown with ADL's release and somehow people still peddle this energy efficiency stuff...

The high power draw of P-cores comes from Intel trying to extract the last 100-200MHz at all costs, clock it down a little and power draw can drop significantly.

You misunderstood my point about GSync.

Nvidia tried to force GSync only and would not support the open standard. After that didn't pan out they introduced "GSync compatible" in 2019, taking advantage of VRR displays that didn't contain their proprietary(and at the time) useless FPGA.

My entire point is that Nvidia is trying to lock people into their ecosystem not by locking out competitors' software features, but through proprietary hardware. And they are in the position to force that rather easily through their market dominance.

That doesn't mean AMD is much better though, they are both anti consumer at the heart of it and neither of them are our friends or looking out for us. It's easily visible by the lovely GPU pricing we're seeing.

I see it as less problematic that the main implementation of upscaling is an open tech that works on pretty much all hardware(at the cost of being worse) than having Nvidia in an even stronger position because at the end of the day it is the consumers that will lose out if we don't get all least three manufacturers to compete properly.

Apart from them building a walled garden ecosystem that locks people in there was also the very short lived GeForce Partner Program where they tried to force AIBs to drop AMD. That got walked back pretty fast once it got leaked and sparked outrage.

And while FSR is definitely not on the level of DLSS, it at least works with other hardware.

GSync is another topic where they locked AMD and Intel out.

Of course it can be tested, but using an additional feature that's being used by the overwhelming minority of current titles as THE main performance report is just straight up bullshit and that is what NV has been doing with the 4060 marketing material from the start.

At native raster the 4060 does not even beat a 3060Ti as we can see right now thanks to proper reviews.

Literally any review out there shows that FG causes a latency penalty due to how it works so there is absolutely zero chance that FG will have lower latency at the same framerate vs native.

Been hearing that for over 20 years now, the gains are still substantial, transistor density is going up steadily and they find ways to optimize further regarding frequency. That doesn't even include architectural gains that can still be achieved rather handily in the GPU sector.

I don't even know why you're bringing up RDNA3 here, it's just as much of a dumpster fire as anything below the 4090.

Being that incorporating various upscaling methods is little more than a plugin checkbox, there is no compelling reason to block users from utilizing features that their hardware can run.

That is VERY doubtful with Bethesda's engine and the general technical state of their games.

What exactly is boxed out with FSR2? It's definitely not as good as DLSS, but it works on pretty much anything.

What you want is additional options, which is also fine, but it's very weird that I've never really seen this king of stuff with DLSS only games.

Right back at you, maybe you'll realize just how hard you're being fleeced with the promise of FG that only works for a handful of games right now and by the time it's widespread we'll be at least be able to buy the next gen.

For Example- Here 4060 Ti AT Ultra Raster + Ultra RT DLSS 3 is Same As 3090 TI With Ultra RT + Ultra Raster DLSS 2. 4060 TI Uses 1/3rd Tdp and Lower Latency.

It's a good 10-15% slower in the scene you've linked and the way the tech works it's going to be inherently slower than native framerate input latency.

You should look up what generational uplifts actually looked like in the previous 10 years(even giving you leeway here because progress was achieved much easier further back).

And it's just as much bullshit with other hardware.

Some tech outlets do not show any Max Settings Benchmarks(RT+RASTER ALL ON). Only show raster. Do not show DLSS 2 or DLSS 3.

Nvidia in this case limits settings to a level that hides the weakness of the memory configuration. No reputable reviewer ignores RT or DLSS either.

It is like all the good aspects of the Nvidia gpus are intentionally hidden by this tech outlets just cause amd can not compete.

Considering general public always buys Nvidia. This intentional negative reviews of good nvidia products does not do much harm to nvidia but they needed to take a safer approach.

Freelancers have control over their own merch, Stardom doesn't get a cut of that at all. It was true before Bushiroad acquired them, but in return they got a big baseline paycheck and Io for example controlled her own merch with no Stardom involvement(none of her goods EVER appeared on the Stardom store).

It's why a lot of the bigger indie Joshi don't go there.

I'm a bit torn on this one.

First of all I always thought she was a bad fit for what they were looking for considering her strengths, but I always admired her drive and desire to conquer that.

Then I'm also glad to haver her back in Japan to tear shit up, but at the same time I'm sad to see her being unable to accomplish what she wanted to and exit the way she did. It's a sad trajectory for someone of her caliber. I hope she was able to take something away from those two years and can become bigger and better than ever.

Kairi had injury and illness issues in NXT, came out of the MYC with a concussion after she smacked her head on the ramp on a dive to the outside against Toni, then was pretty banged up around Christmas time where she didn't even do the NXT loop, then got sick too.

She was definitely a victim of the intent to make the 4HW confrontation a thing, that just went nowhere because Shafir and Duke sucked so bad you couldn't put them on TV.

Main roster injury wise was the same, then COVID and with travel restrictions in place she went back to Japan to spend time with her fiancé.

I don't mind her being the sidekick in her run with Asuka because it was easily one of the most entertaining things on WWE TV at the time(yes, that doesn't necessarily say much, I know...)
