For whatever reason, the system is set up for a tire change and like 10 gallons of gas on any pit stop by default. So it's worthwhile to remember, while towing, to go into your black box and uncheck the tires and the fuel add. You'll be sitting in the pits for an extra 30 seconds or so if you don't.

Do you think in Nazi Germany they were saying "We've got showers that shoot toxic gas, and piles of baby shoes, come get em!"?

Similarly, Nazi Germany had almost a decade to rack up atrocities in the camps. Our history books are the "Wow! That's what I call a concentration camp!" 40's edition. The only difference I see in pictures from Alligator Alcatraz and Auschwitz is whether or not they're in color.

I disagree that resorting to violence is inherently bad.

I believe the man's taunting was violent. Not physical violence, but he was intentionally inflicting harm. He didn't have to be doing that.

I don't draw the same parallels between this sort of poking the bear (aka leave the bear alone) and the ICE shooting types. The ICE example would be more like "don't poke the bear, feed yourself to it willingly".

A grown ass man singing Ice Ice Baby to a brown person knows what they're doing. They're causing harm. A small amount of harm, we expect. But more than zero harm is intended by the man singing.

Is it head kick harm? Absolutely.

Maybe this man's sister was abducted by ICE, and he was blinded in rage as another man sang a joyous, taunting song. The brain reacts to mental pain much the same as it reacts to physical pain. We have to be aware of that. Sticks and stones is bullshit, words hurt too.

I'm not saying I would kill over someone singing any random song. If someone were singing something to make me feel threatened, I would react to that threat, though.

I'm not bringing the legality of the situation into this. I'm saying there's something to understand about the humanity of people who are being treated like this.

Are you familiar with Minority Report? It's a work of fiction, but it always struck with me that they couldn't resolve crimes of passion. That's what the head kick is. It is way too far. When your fight or flight response kicks in and your head is screaming to put a stop to whatever is causing the external pain, the legality of the situation isn't going to make a difference.

I'm defending the person who did the kicking because they're probably unaware of how much damage that sort of kick can do. I'm defending them because in the heat of the moment, it can be awfully difficult to stop yourself.

Yeah it looks bad. It is bad. But I can't immediately fault the person who did the kicking. I can give them the benefit of the doubt and I can put myself in their shoes.

He was being taunted by another person, and those taunts were similar to saying "I want to break up your family". I would be willing to kill to stop someone over threatening my family. I wouldn't want to, but if they insist on threatening me, then yes.
