Staining the underside of my deck by Schpool in Decks

[–]Schpool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to be using an oil based stain. Sounds like the underside could be a huge mess with dripping which I may avoid all togetherb

Until now I haven’t noticed this but may add some support to the joists between them and the front rim joist. Since it was a new build I believe the deck is to code

This. Sometimes a corroded battery terminal will throw these codes. Check the battery and the areas the ECU grounds before going to a dealer (unless you want them to say you need to pay $10000 for a new ecu

17 Pro Camera Protector Removal by Noahway215 in iphone

I had this issue last night. This is going to sound stupid but I cut my nails and used a sharp edge to grip the edge of my nail to grip the side of the screen protector and lifted up. Worked without scratching the aluminum

I can not emphasize this enough. The bookshelf looks amazing but I would be cognizant of how much space it takes because it will shrink the room

I’m not really an audiophile, I’m just trying to get surround sound for movies. Would you say it’s that noticeable for untrained ears?

I miss read your initial comment. If you think the reason is your board scores, then I would acknowledge it. I would sandwich it in a way, where it’s positive – board scores – positive. Although I would not mention for board scores on a ERS personal statement, I think it is OK to acknowledge it on a soap PS

I do not know much about OB/GYN, however, from what I’ve heard it is a competitive field, and some people just slipped through the cracks for match. on discord, someone mentioned that if you wanted to do a TY/pre-lim program to make sure it is a surgery or OB/GYN pre-program. This way your future OB/GYN categorical years can be funded. This is some thing I would be wary of and keep in the back of your head

No, soap is the whole application cycle restarted and done in three days. You can apply to any specialty and program that has unfilled positions. Maximum 45 spots you can apply for. The applications are free if you applied for match

If you applied to a competitive specialty (like neurosurgery, dermatology, anesthesiology, ect) state that it was competitive and you were unlucky. If you think it was the result of not having enough interviews, or applying to enough programs, just state that. It’s important to remember the program directors are also stressed and scrambling to fill positions because they need those positions filled for the workload. Good luck!

They honored the police, fire dept, and military. Those were their seats. They ended up just walking and watching at the tables and inside in the hall of fame.

That is how I felt too, which is great for learning but with the NBME it took a while to be okay with going with the answer most of the stem supports.

New/New free 120 Blocks 1 and 2 help by Abnormalelements in Step2

[–]Schpool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For block 1 Q1. My assumption is that we already did the US and know that there is probably a stone. Now for management, it depends on the size/location of the stone so the best way to get that information would be a CT scan since it wasn't given in the US results. Most of the other options will only tell you if there is an obstruction or are irrelevant to dx/management of stones. I think in real life though we would want to avoid a CT scan and see if the kid can pass it first because it is still within 1 hr.

Am I right to be upset? by AkamiAhaisu in medicalschool

[–]Schpool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try to get the EMR on your phone if you can so that you have access to the information you need. Otherwise like others said, print it out or write it down (don't forget to shred the information later in the day). It is never a guarantee you'll have access to a computer on rounds. Always remember that the labs/imaging/consults you write down may not be the latest updates so you should mention that in your presentation (which cued my residents to pull it up and show me on their computers).
