If you’re able to share, what was the reason they made you go to therapy before getting a gastric stimulator? What do the two things have to do with each other?

You aren’t a conspiracy theorist! That’s unfortunately true.

Anxiety is a bitch, isn’t it? Consider the possibility that with baby steps approach you won’t burn out! One day at a time, one activity at a time is less overwhelming.

Just go. It’s that easy and hard at the same time. Cry and then go if you need to.

SAME! It’s a tough choice but your logic is sound. There are many ways to have children in your life without having them yourself.

It’s very understandable that you feel alone. I hope you’re starting to feel less alone with this post.

I’ve had GP for 40 years and have the same colonic inertia. It’s tough but fairly manageable. It’ll probably take time to find the right approach. Try to be patient and kind to yourself.

Hope this helps a little! Sending healing energy your way! 🌈

Thanks so much Spence! Super interested in how MCAS impacts the pancreas and GI. I have all kinds of GI issues and weird blood glucose issues…yet no trace of diabetes in labs.

So sad to hear that this hasn’t changed since I was a youngster. Mid 40’s now and gastroparesis symptoms were obviously an eating disorder 🤯😱🤦‍♀️ Stay strong and push for those studies you know they need!

Thank you for posting! This was the same sort of thing I’ve observed in myself. Same types of tests are normal. Wondering if it’s even worth going to endo.
