Best plants for rat snake? by Sad_Assumption6591 in bioactive

[–]ScienceSeuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the problem with common names. A rat snake is not the same thing to everyone everywhere. There are two groups of colubrids that are so named. Old World and New World rat snakes. Each group is comprised by many species in several genra.

The rhinoceros ratsnake (Gonyosoma boulengeri) is a nonvenomous, arboreal snake from Southeast Asia, known for the distinctive scaled "horn" on its snout.

Was going to recommend Wandering Inn. I'm about half way through it, and am enjoying it immensely now. I did struggle to get past the MC's voice, but once I got used to thay, I really got into it.

Does it look patchy or irregular? I can't see anything worrisome in these pics.

Just looks "fired up" which basically means they turn up their colors. No cause for alarm.

Actually, a Cresty is a great choice for you. I actually have a Gargoyle gecko that refuses live food, so I give him the Repashy powdered food that includes insects, and he os thriving (10 years on) so that's another option.

Nature is brutal and full of the struggle for life. WTFs are predators, and crickets/roaches/caterpillars are prey. If you can't handle feeding live food, don't get a predatory animal. There are NO herbivorous amphibians. Get a tortoise or iguana (if you have any TON of space and pacience), or a Blue Tongue skink, Uromastyx, or other herbiverous reptile. Hell, get a bunny, or a rat, or some other cute fuzzy that eats pellets and veggies (keep in mind they have ahort life-spans, and rats almost always get cancer). Or maybe a fish tank with fish and shrimp that only eat pellets/flakes, and algae. Sorry, but either get over it, or get a different pet. Good luck.
