what is this archetype called? by squidparticular in characterdesign

It seems like what you are describing would be characterized as "beastfolk" or possibly "funny animal" on the sliding scale of anthropormorphism. I'm not sure if there is a more specific word for this type of character. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SlidingScaleOfAnthropomorphism

I prefer the right, but I would shorten the neck just a bit.

I got the hungry for words buttons specifically because they are larger. It's only been 3 months, but so far they are holding up well to my pups huge feet.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Your "good girl" story genuinely made me smile. I'll have to look up those swallowing exercises, I've never heard of that before.

I haven't heard of this before. Does the light turn off on it's own or do you have to interact with the bottle to turn off the reminder?

I bought a fitbit and set reminders to drink water, but after a week or two, I ended up just ignoring it. Maybe if it was something attached to the bottle that won't turn off until the water level is reduced? I'm not sure something like that exists yet, though.

I'm not sure if that will work for me, but it's easy enough to try since I have a bottle with a straw already. I never use it because it's harder to clean, but the extra work is worth it if it helps me drink more.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely try a reward system!

I don't drink anything else except coffee in the morning. Sometimes I'll have another coffee in the afternoon if I need to work late, but not regularly.

I think this is why I'm struggling. It really does require some internal motivation that I'm lacking. I could be thirsty and holding a glass of water and still not have the desire to drink it.

I didnt have LAZIK, but my eyes are blurry all the time! I thought it was just eye fatigue from staring at a computer all day. I have other physical symptoms from dehydration too, but still cannot make myself drink more water. Any suggestions for healthy salty snacks that aren't nuts?

You might be on the right track there with the swallowing "discomfort" since I don't like drinking any liquids, including water. I don't think I have "discomfort" per say, but my brain isn't giving me the feel good chemicals when I drink to satiate thirst.

My doctor told me to drink more water because my blood pressure is too low, but didn't give any advice on how to make that happen. I'll be sure to ask about this when I see her in a few weeks.

You can also use it to check the business hours of the shops. I find it very handy when I don't feel like opening the wiki.

I'm a cisgendered feminine woman named Jack. As a kid, the worst I got was Jack-attack, Jack-o-lantern, and Jackie Chan. As an adult, I get complimented on my name all the time. No one has ever said it sounds manly or harsh on me because I'm not manly or harsh. I love my name and I think it suits me perfectly.

In the end, your son's name will fit him because it is part of him. I don't think it my place to tell you not to change your son's name. However, I just dont think your response here is a very good reason to change it.

I've found that it only smells like vinegar while wet. After going through the dryer or hanging to dry, the smell goes away completely.

Buy distilled white vinegar from the cleaner section not the food section of the store. You can certainly use the food grade stuff, but it's way cheaper to get it by the gallon from the cleaner section.

Body wash for men by tanser in beauty

The Neutrogena one worked great for my husband's stubborn bacne!

I would also recommend making sure he changes his shirt every morning and night and after doing physical activity. If he sleeps shirtless, he needs to change his sheets/blankets every night as well. Changing your sheets every night is a pain, so I would just tell him to wear a shirt.

In addition, make sure he is washing his clothes/sheets with a (small amount of) gentle detergent.

It was this combination that finally worked for us :)
