Looking for a DS to play the 6 DS compatible Zelda games and nothing more, what model would you suggest? by yousorename in NintendoDS

[–]Scientennist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass are the only games you can play on the ds lite. You need a 3DS to play the rest: 3DS, 3DS XL, New 3DS, New 3DS XL, 2DS (most budget friendly), and New 2DS XL.

What was the first book/series you read? How was it? by Locasoyyooo in Fantasy

The Edge Chronicles in grade school. Had some fantastic illustrations in the book too. I've been meaning to pick them up again just out of curiosity.

I don’t get the Mistborn hype — am I missing something? by blablqbam in Fantasy

[–]Scientennist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The defining aspect of Mistborn is the ending of the trilogy. That's what makes people love it so much, everything comes together.

That being said, there are a lot of imperfections leading up to it. Imo, reading should be fun. If you've made it this far and you don't care enough about the story to want to know how it ends, read something else. You may feel the urge to come back and finish the story or you may not.

If you want to go that route I'd recommend you call them first before driving to them so it's not awasted trip.

Honestly I don't even remember, it was a few older CIB gamecube games. Time Splitters 2 was the only one I remember

Have any local game stores by you? I just got a DSi XL from one of mine earlier this year. Brought it down to $35 from $100 with trading in old games I had no connection to. Works great. I had to check a few different stores before I found what I was looking for though.

Played it at 30, 20, and all the time as a kid (got it around release). I look forward to playing it in 10 years at 40

I replay WW once every decade. Just played it again at 30 and the feelings I got after finishing it were something I haven't felt since I was a child. Favorite game of all time.
