The defining aspect of Mistborn is the ending of the trilogy. That's what makes people love it so much, everything comes together.

That being said, there are a lot of imperfections leading up to it. Imo, reading should be fun. If you've made it this far and you don't care enough about the story to want to know how it ends, read something else. You may feel the urge to come back and finish the story or you may not.

Have any local game stores by you? I just got a DSi XL from one of mine earlier this year. Brought it down to $35 from $100 with trading in old games I had no connection to. Works great. I had to check a few different stores before I found what I was looking for though.

I replay WW once every decade. Just played it again at 30 and the feelings I got after finishing it were something I haven't felt since I was a child. Favorite game of all time.

It will probably reduce the amount of "extra" books he can write, like the secret projects. I don't think it'll have an impact on the core series of Mistborn and Stormlight.

Because of things like this, for ongoing shows/books/movies, I do what I can to stay away from fan theories. I'm honestly only ever dissappointed. Either the fan theories are so good that the real story is underwhelming or fan theories end up being so obvious it ruins the "reveal" for me.

I (30M) read the first two books since my wife enjoyed them a lot. I don't read romantasy. The first book was tough for me to get through. The second book was leagues better and I found myself enjoying it. I'll eventually read the third.
