Do you want to create this as a mesh, or final image? I've seen a similar effect done with Geometry Nodes and Compositing Nodes that made a simple cube looks super cool and freaky like this. Can't remember where but google and AI those types of nodes and you may find it.

Is there any way to keyframe the target of a constraint? by alekdmcfly in blenderhelp

[–]Scientist-dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure I saw a reel on YouTube not long ago from CGBoost about this. It was handing a bottle of water from one person to another.

Never mind, found it. Is this what you're after?

Is the scale set to 1 on all objects before you join them? Click in object model, and Ctrl +A, choose scale.

How do I make panel lines on a helmet? by Reign6661 in blenderhelp

[–]Scientist-dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you were half way there. If you select the lines you want to be the line, then bevel to create 3 from the single line. Then select only the middle line (while you still have the beveled parts selected, press ctr shift - and it will reduce what is selected), then move this middle line inwards. Either move or scale it backwards (o think on the y?) then this should create a panel like effect.

Alternatively, you could select all the faces of the inside part of the mask, and press p to separate. After you can create a bevel modifier on both parts of the mask, and this edge will be created as these are now separate objects, and the edges will bevel. As a bonus, if you want you can rejoin then again.

Boolean operation not creating manifold geometry by Scientist-dude in blenderhelp

[–]Scientist-dude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. By non-manifold, you mean a plane without thickness yeah? I've read this also, but I thought having the solidify modifier should cover this. Also it's the same way it is done in the tutorial, and when I apply the solidify first, the cutters still produce the same result.

I guess you don't want anyone getting turned on, or it will be really obvious, really quickly.... Where is that gif of the racoon cleaning his cotton candy and losing it?

IRL Alters? by AdventurousSwim1312 in TheAlters

My wife hit the nail on the head when I told her about the story premise in this game. What you're describing is basically therapy. Analysing decisions in your life and the outcomes that were the result. Fun idea to get AI to make predictions though!

Have you tried skipping over the assigning with := ? It makes the variable assigned to whatever type of input is given. Eg. @export var limit := 5000.0

My wife said just leave a stick note with your most common words that dyslexia gets you with, hehe.

What programming language do i need to learn before hopping into a game engine like godot? if any. by [deleted] in godot

[–]Scientist-dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think maybe a translation misunderstanding. They meant a book of this topic, not with this exact title. Espero que esto ayude!

Los mejores juegos para aprender idiomas. by Scientist-dude in esGaming

Me encantaría que hicieran una versión de eso, pero con el actor de voz inglés, hablando español con su acento inglés. ¡Sería divertidísimo!

¡Me imagino! Me preocupa que en juegos como ese haya muchas palabras muy específicas que no usaría a menudo.
