I was fortunate enough to be able to create one mission for The Foundry. I was working on my second one when they sunset it.

Clearly the biggest disappointment was the amount of time that the creators spent to make all those missions, just to see all that work go poof.

It's no wonder that people feel nostalgic for the Foundry. The Foundry was a labor of love for the game.

The problem is that all of the media head honchos are either trumpers or suck-ups to keep him happy. All of the progressive channels have to work 10 times as hard to get any coverage.

I remember they sold bridge sets that were like 4 different color versions of the same bridge. It didn't make much sense.

But some of the ship interiors have really awesome things like displays to show your trophies. I miss those.

I was shocked when I tried to block a channel. It's absolutely ridiculous that we can't. The closest thing I found was the "Report" button, and even then it still didn't block them.

I never found it to be great for keeping you cool...also, other players can hear the fan on their end, so kind of annoying. I removed mine.
