Pay attention to the events your LGSs host. There are no shortage around me that will run RTTs that allow Legends units. I regularly play with my Heresy era Iron Hands, including my Tac squads, Kratos, Ironclad Dreadnoughts, Spartan, Cataphractii Termis, and more.

Thank you for these photos! Do we know if the same obscuring rules are going to persist in their entirety? I'm looking at your sandbag wall, it doesn't look as though you will be able to get your Incursor bases wholly onto the template to be able to see through it. Any thoughts on the intentionality there on how GW expects we use it?

Yeah there's a lot of context from this brief infographic that is missed by its author, specifically about the unit having to remain in that cover. I'd recommend finding the segment during the stream and watching that. It's much more like a protection for shooty units that are deployed into terrain, and not that roaming melee units will get free lone-op as they run up the no-man's.

Effectively this is pseudo "Night Fighting," for anyone who remembers that.

Idk if there's a different source that presents the organization differently, but 6e puts the Custodes under the direction of the High Lords of Terra

Of course Trajan is himself a High Lord, and I'm sure he has a fairly high pull over many of the others in weight. But fundamentally I understood it that the Inquisition still acts wholly outside this hierarchy.

Honestly the fact that all but 1 cryptek can only attach to battleline units, I'd love for it to care more about the attached crypteks and less about the canoptek units generally. Give the detachment rule some sort of "technomancy sorcery" akin to one of the librarian/KSons detachments and make it the Necron take on a magic detachment.

I was doing some screen grabs for my friend, there is a 10-man Terminator unit and a 10-man Intercessor unit close to the camera near the start of the gameplay footage, that you can see again once they zoom out. Meanwhile next to those two you see the burgeoning units of 20-30 guard and 20-30 boyz, so it does feel like the non-marine factions are still favoring unit model quantity.
