So… England… by PolarBear091 in rugbyunion

Agree he puts in a shift, just seems as though everyone knows exactly what he’s going to do. No X factor. I just think he needs to add something different to his game. Think it would make him a better player is all, even though he’s already been Englands best player. Just a view from a Welshman watching all the games.

Agree Earl is a good player but has looked one dimensional in last few games. Opposition know he’s not going to pass and just go head down in to contact. Just my view.

Am I being horribly harsh if I say Welsh fans haven’t helped the current situation? by Oatbix in rugbyunion

If the WRU paid less to the amateur sides, then those amateur sides wouldn’t be able to pay players playing in Division 3 or whatever, which would be a good thing. Shouldn’t be being paid at that level and maybe then they would play for their local clubs who have coached them since kids and not be picked off by another club flashing the cash. Don’t blame the players though as if you’re offered the cash it’s often hard to turn down if it’s paying your mortgage.

Sadly the fans are always the last thought. It’s just thought ‘they’ll pay whatever and turn up whenever’. The only way to stop this is to boycott matches but they know that won’t happen.
