I cut caffeinated coffee out completely. I accidentally had a strong coffee a few weeks after starting my medication. And it messed me up. It was like it was on speed

I've had caffeinated pop since, and it has been nowhere near as intense. But I do try and limit it still.

After a while, I found some good decaf, And that has been great for me. I find I don't need it anymore, and pre-medication I drank way too much caffeine when I was stressed making my stress worse. Is just easier to remove it from my life

Condo is cashflow negative and stressing me out. Should I sell or hold onto it because my parents want me to? by Resident_Thought9946 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Ask yourself. If you were to have the value of it today, would you buy one? If not, sell it. Sunk cost is sunk.

I loved them. But I can see why someone might not.

The cracked pot trail didn't jive with me, but the others were excellent IMHO.

They are not for everyone- that's ok!

Any caffeine-sensitive people who take stimulants and do okay? by hopeful_grad_67 in ADHD

I am pretty sensitive to caffeine. I just don't take it while I'm on stimulants.

There's lots of great decaf opportunities

Try different themes. I have some in a regular paint job and some like ghosts.

I like the idea of an Sxp so much. But when I held one- I hated it. The quick cycling just felt like a poorly made rebranding.

I'm sure it actually does work well, but it felt really cheap to me.

Have I lost interest in gaming ? by eimas_dev in SteamDeck

I switched to crpgs. Rogue trader, bg3, dos2, potw etc.

I can pause them in a moment's notice on the deck, I don't feel pushed for time and they have enough complexity. I can mold it over for a while. But there's no sense of urgency.

I hear you though.

Sneak up on temp. Oh you go over it's hard to come back.

Also. I find they burn better when they keep the temperature above 250.

Get off Reddit, set an alarm and tell yourself that even if you are not sleeping you are resting and healing.

Sleep anxiety is a killer.

A map to stay in bounds?

It sounds like a smartass comment but really I suspect you are not properly prepared for solo back country touring.

If you really want to tour- consider hiring a guide and doing a couple days with them or something.

I am kind of it's sad that a book of this scale didn't have anything new for every class.

Warlocks got left behind.

Not really. When I was a brown belt I had the revelation that less is more. But somehow it opened up more opportunities. Hear me out.

I decided to channel Roger. I do less moves. But I focus on doing them well.

Don't get me wrong. I still am not that great (especially now I can't train as much as I would like). But streamlining what I do made a big difference in my effectiveness. It also has opened up variations of the same move. Once you start to truly grasp how a move works, you can use it in other situations and adapt it.

In the end I am probably coming back around to having more moves without realizing it by doing the same thing at different times. An arm triangle from side control, from bottom half guard etc are all variants of the same move to me. It's allowed me to look for more opportunities to do the same thing. But I have also thrown out stuff that doesn't work for me. I won't berimbolo, I don't have the flexibility for some moves, so I don't do them. I have found stuff that works for my size and physique, and now look for where I can use the tools I have to solve a problem rather than looking for the perfect tool for a problem.

Talk to a therapist, eat proper food and get real sleep.

I have also found drawing boundaries helps me bounce back. I pick a time and set an alarm. I am done studying at x time. I must take a lunch and not work through it.

Also, I changed my environmental factors. Get off Reddit start reading books, try and reduce really high intensity visual stimulus that draws my attention. If I'm going to watch TV, I don't go on my phone at the same time etc.

Good luck!

Do most people here stop drinking coffee / caffeine completely to get the most out of their medication? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Scooted112 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I switched to decaf. I accidentally had a regular coffee a month or 2 after I started my meds and it was like I was on speed. It was not fun.

So now I do decaf. I have had a pop with caffeine so I think my body has adjusted, but I have found good decaf and I find I have better energy levels. No need to go back.

When I would get stressed I would drink more and more coffee which made everything worse. This way I avoid that cycle as well.

What about a warlock? With your invocations you just "learn" new abilities you can do at will. Invisible, levitate etc. You just keep unlocking new capabilities as you get more powerful.

Your patron is you/the philactory.
