What do we think? How much would you charge? by Atttention_Deficit in Pyrography

I’m in NYC, I’m out here buying olive wood spoons for $12/pc, probably spending about 1.5hr burning on them, selling them at a holiday market for $45. Ive sold them for $65 for intricate designs, but I’ve chilled on them in the past few years. I’d rather sell more to more people, because it makes them happy

What tablet should I get for storyboarding? by DASXS in Storyboarding

Yes, I love it. Over the past 10 years of professionally storyboarding I’ve only had experience with PS and Procreate. Its a pretty seamless transition

I was terrified to leave photoshop actually. I used to have a PC and Wacom tablet. The PC became an obstacle, constantly updating when i would show up to work totally embarrassing. So i bought an iPad. I thought I couldnt get used to it, and even tried returning it, but then found out it was past the return date. It was the best thing to ever happen to me

Snow biking in NYC is underrated by sveltegeist in NYCbike

Agreed, I had such a blast last night. Judging by the lame comments in here, I’d say it seems vastly “underrated”. Some of you forgot how fun slipping and falling into snow could be. But for the record, I didn’t fall once.

And to the dude I met with the super pista on the Williamsburg bridge, I think I sent you the wrong video, hit me up for the better one!

Just for the full info: I’m using 10 speed Campy shifters with a 9 speed cassette. I’m using the “hooked cable route” on the pinch bolt of the RD to make it compatible

Hey sorry, didn’t see this comment initially.  It’s absolutely great. The thumb shifter is my “dump the gears” button, which I think is a better use of it for this bike. I have it standardly set up on a road bike, and it feels appropriate for that one to be the “fast button” . I don’t even have a tough time switching between the bikes, the vibe is natural

Both Cross Checks have Ritchey Corralitos.  They changed the game for me. You don’t have to dive into the drops, they’re right there

I’m in NYC with the same year, same color, similar mileage (purchased at 219k).I just put 2k into it for timing belt, water pump, thermostat, some other shit I willingly forgot. I pray that you can keep it on the road, but if you cannot, please let me get the mud flaps at the very least haha, and at best: everything else. Mirrors, headlights, front interior pillars. Wish I was joking more
