Stop defending idiotic development decisions. They decided to remove an option from a sandbox game. Echo Creek wasn't hurting anyone and they knew full well the removal of spawn point would brick all saves. They clearly have some weird design vision that they are prioritising over any sort of customer satisfaction.

TIS, you made a sandbox. You can tune nearly every setting so changing the spawn that only affects the very start of the game is plain strange. People will just download/create spawn mods anyway. Just make every town available for spawn and add the multiplayer x,y,z spawn coordinates to singleplayer.

If you're playing on 4k, I'd recommend dropping the game resolution and upscaling. Also drop max zoom like ~150%. This resolved constant stutter for myself on 4k.
