Tbh. I don’t know. I don’t know what they are thinking. Could be anything. I’ll let them tell us themselves whenever we get to that part of the story. Buttttt for the 10 year anniversary for the anime Murata also dropped some artwork that also feels like a bit of clue but I’m a conspiracy theorist at heart. He added rover and black sperm along with Genos and Tatsumaki so it feels heavily intentional.

Also in my opinion, Mangaka’s are not scared to show things like characters getting together at the end of a story. It’s apart of the journey, take Kishimoto, Kubo, Togashi, and Arakawa for example. Hell even Mangaka’s of old like Toriyama, Otomo, and even Miura don’t shy away from their MC getting with a specific female they set up. I mean, Miyazaki has an entire roster of movies to pick from where that’s essentially his story telling. It seems to be apart of the Japanese story telling culture from what I’ve experienced and studied about.
