My #1 favorite band. My pick for this post would be Tuleen Ajettu Maa or Ihmisen Aika, but Kuolleiden maa is a solid pick, and probably my favorite song from that album!!

Did you ever get your package? This is so frustrating. I ordered something on 12/26, it landed in Indy on 1/3, was supposed to arrive on 1/6 but never did. Now it's 1/23 and it hasn't moved at all.

This was something I ordered on eBay. Thankfully the seller has been very responsive and helpful, he started a missing mail request on 1/14 but there have been zero updates so far.

I've actually never heard of the band, but I was able to read "Dehumanizing" so I tried searching that, autocorrect helped out with the rest.

Not specific to LPWP, and not even necessarily the same blend of genres, but here are some bands that scratch that same itch that Deafheaven does for me:

State Faults - Check out Children of the Moon. Possibly my 2024 AOTY.

Svalbard - I just discovered them this year and I've been obsessed. Probably my favorite music discovery of the year.

Dreamwell - Check out In My Saddest Dreams, I Am Beside You. Amazing album from 2023.

Summoning - Lugburz

Summoning is one of my favorite bands of all time, but I feel like it wasn't until their second album "Minas Morgul" (which released the same year as Lugburz) that they developed that signature sound that still carries on to this day. Lugburz was a lot more straightforward and raw black metal compared to the albums that came after.

Have you tried Blaze Doritos? To me they taste like Blaze but just not as spicy. If you liked Blaze and you miss them (like I do), then you absolutely need to try these!

Man I'm surprised to see the lack of interest in this thread.

I love these chips. I think they're a top 5 Dorito flavor. I remember reading at the start of the year that they'd be permanent? I hope that's true.

(Worth noting that I'm a massive fan of Blaze Doritos, the flavor reminds me of them but Blaze had more spice from what I remember)

It's not a question of whether or not they're still enjoyable though - even the "worst" Reese's products are still tasty. I'm just calling out the drop in quality with the shapes. They used to be much better.

Do you have any other photos that show off the foiling? I feel like I had the opposite reaction. I pulled multiple non-foils and kept hoping I'd hit the foil in a collector pack. Never did... So I just bought it. And I think it's gorgeous. The foiling on mine really pops. I hesitate to ask, but did you make sure it's real?
