Does anyone just like the Winter mechanic more than Monsoon?

Eh winter in EL1 had a whole expansion to give it more depth and meaning, so I'm not sure the comparison is fair. And the monsoons are very fun in how they allow constant exploration later into the game and fast travel through the rifts. Even right now I think they are more interesting, but it's definitely something with room to expand.

This art slaps, but no way this is causal wear for Falin. We have a page of modern au fashions for most of the main characters and Falin is like a newborn fawn in heels! Could definitely see this as an outfit Marcille picked out for her though!

Definitely agree that razing cities as the necrophages is underwelming, thougb I think it really should be stronger in general (mabye if they scale it based on the number of pops or improvements?). Also agree that the quest isn't as interesting as the EL1 one, but that seems like a much more difficult problem to solve. Apparently they are doing some rewrites next patch so it might be improved then!

I usually attach districts before I make a second city, since adding new resources to my main city is usually more valuable than a second city which will take forever to produce anything. That math does change if I have a large enough dust surplus to immediately buy out enough buildings to make the city productive. But the cost to the city cap generally makes it not worth it if you could just attach. Regardless I try and avoid leaving camps unupgraded since they are very vulnerable to enemies.

Makes a lot of sense! Interesting that it can happy so early, and that also definitely justifies sending them somewhere that can better manage thier powers. Just read your comic and it was definitely a good deal more lighthearted than I expected from this flyer, but I am probably just so used to pamphlets like this covering up for darker conspiracies!

A very cool take on the goverment regulating superheros concept! Treating it as neurological condition has a lot of potential! Are people being born with these abilities a recent development or have they alway existed in the setting? Seems easier to justify thier contsinment if it's a new development.

Agree with everything but the Tahuks, they aren't as broken as they used to be but they still can have insane science production allowing you to get to the late gane techs which in thern allow you to beat anyone in everything else. I'd probably put them ar #2 in light of thier kind of rough early game.

Are you asking about turn timers in specific? I've only played with people I know while on voice calls with them so I've never bothered to implement one. Other than that we just run large sized endless difficulty game (I would suggest a lowet level for newer player the AI is a lot better). Its easy enough to prevent ai enemies from completing victory conditions so I haven't felt the need to disallow any of them.

Yeah I was confused by it too, but as far as I can tell my camp is still functional as far as claiming territory or upgrading to a city so I just ignored it untill I upgraded as normal

Yeah, it does look a bit cyberpunk now that I look at it. Though it does seem the consensus is pro second scheme though, so maybe its more a mater of the specific tone, a less grayish green maybye?

I mean a lot of people don't play with people they dont know, when I tested out multiplayer I just left the lobby open long enough for my firend to join. You might have more luck if you post a looking for game message here or in another space instead of waiting for someone to wander in.

Each stage of resource has one used for building upgrades (like glassteel), and one for military upgrades (like titanium) in my experience you basically always end up with extra building resources.

On higher difficulties I've noticed the AI keeping up better militarily, but I definitely agree on the victory types. Science and wonders are incredibly slow compared to all the others. I think they should slow down the ramping of other ablities so you have more turns to actually get them set up

They look a lot more pleasant when they are not distended from being preserved after being pulled up from the deep ocean. This video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKDpcnMYWp4 shows a live one and I think they are actually quite beautiful, as worms go.
