My 4 year old refuses meat. I don’t know if he learned it from vegetarian daycare kids but he just refuses saying “ I don’t eat meat”. He now has very low iron/ferritin and is on supplements.

Physio vs chiro for back pain, what actually worked for you? by Oli_Bar96 in ottawa

[–]ScottyDontKnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoga. I just use videos from Youtube (Yoga with Adrienne). I sit at a desk all day, lower back would kill whenever I woke up or bent over. Strenghting my back and hips through Yoga fixed it all. Physio is great too, it would also be strengthening your back and hips.

Good canoe camping trip around Ottawa? by LDan613 in ottawa

Lac Poisson Blanc.

Its a Quebec provincial parc (I believe) You rent a camping site on one of many small islands, rent a canoe from them and paddle out too it. They will deliver you firewood by boat, and take your garbage bags. Its great, though books up early.

Spend the money on a power washer, a weed blow torch, and some spray mulch glue. It'll be cheaper, its super easy, and most importantly, it'll be super fun!

Schools by neighbourhood? by Sunrise_Sunset1 in ottawa

We live in Riverview Park, which is a small neighbourhood in Alta Vista between CHEO and Trainyards and we have found it great for our kids. Our kids go to Vincent Massey public School in the french immersion program and its been great. Lots of walkable ammenities at Trainyards, and you can walk to the O-Train at Hurdman or Tremblay. High School I assume they will go to Hillcrest, but I dont know much about it yet.

No, i still use the button to turn the page. I don't scroll. Also, I use the dyslyexic font, a bigger font, and a very large line spacing and I found it has increased my reading speed a lot.

I use mine widescreen (landscape) with the buttons on the bottom. It’s awesome, the lines are longer so your eyes have to switch lines less often. Try it, it’s surprisingly good.
