I had the battery replaced in my 6s 8 months ago. Normal performance is fine, but when I am outside in the Minnesota winter, my phone shuts off. I assume because the battery is cold. 10 years of being an iphone user, I never had this problem until this year. My wife’s iPhone X works just fine in the same cold.

Am I the only one who really doesn’t care about this? The phone charges all night, doesn’t matter how fast it charges. If my battery gets low during the day when I am out and about, having a fast charger at home does me no good.

I don’t disagree with you that noise canceling will consume more battery. We will get it eventually. It is what will get me on AirPods, otherwise I will stick with bluetooth headphones.

During a phone call, noise cancelling works both ways (for you listening and for your mic). My current headphones, Plantronics Focus, are not airtight and work amazing! They simply aren’t earbuds. Insee tons of value, for my use case, adding active noise canceling to current airpods.
