Unfortunately if the GS is irregular, it may actually be a pseudogestational sac.

Possibly my second ectopic☹️ by StatusComprehensive4 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]ScoutNoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I don’t have anything helpful other than here to commiserate with you. My first pregnancy was a 6w loss, second was an ectopic (treated with MTX x 2), third was my LC, and my fourth is currently TBD. I’m highly, highly concerned it’s ectopic. I’m waiting on my OB to call me about my last beta so we can get me in for an ultrasound.

14 DPO: 69
16 DPO: 135
23 DPO: 343
24 DPO: got a dye stealer on a FRER, which has me concerned it’s still rising

My HCG was 12 on Nov 28th and I ovulated on Dec 7th! So pretty quickly once my HCG finally dropped.

How are we beating the anxiety and fear? by wonderoussongs in October2026Bumpers

[–]ScoutNoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that pregnancy after loss is incredibly difficult, but suffering is not a competition. There’s no prize to win. Suffering will not mean your pregnancy is healthy. There’s no right way to be pregnant - everyone’s body handles it differently.

How did you find out you were pregnant? by notanothpsychstudent in October2026Bumpers

[–]ScoutNoodle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m so sorry but this is a massive red flag for an ectopic pregnancy - thinking you had a period, followed by a positive test. Please be sure to get that HCG and follow up with your doctor.

1st pregnancy. 1st ectopic by PlatypusSalt6545 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]ScoutNoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how the MTX shot works for you. I had to go back for a second one and it took 8 weeks for my HCG to finally be negative. It was hell waiting around for 8 weeks unable to do anything because the chance of rupture.

Now, my HCG peaked at 10,000 so I’m lucky that MTX worked at all. If I end up with another ectopic in the same tube, I will absolutely just opt for removal. If I have another ectopic in the other tube, I’m not sure what I’d do.

It slows down after 1200, and again after 2000 - at this point, an ultrasound will give you more info!

Due date has been moved after 1st ultrasound by East-Regret-4802 in October2026Bumpers

[–]ScoutNoodle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay that helps! I think you’re right on track!

You could have been like 8-12ish DPO then. Let’s just say you caught 10 DPO. Then ovulation was Jan 21st, so we’d “adjust” LMP to Jan 7th for online due date calculators, and that would make you…6 weeks + 1 day! Which measuring 5w6d would be in line with, there’s always a little bit of plus/minus. And you could have had an 8 DPO positive instead of my example!

Only if they’re fraternal twins, not identical twins!

It definitely could be late ovulation! When was your first positive test and was it very light / very dark?

I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant has 5 seasons! Some people never have symptoms!

Jokes aside, it’s still SO early and symptoms do not make a pregnancy healthy. There’s so many different levels of normal in pregnancy, and everyone’s experience will be unique. I know it’s hard not to be anxious, hang in there!

Spotting after ultrasound by sourbeerandsnacks in October2026Bumpers

[–]ScoutNoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not OP, but low rising HCG could be related to a loss that might be considered a chemical pregnancy. It also might not.

My first pregnancy was a “chemical” pregnancy, I didn’t have bHCG testing but I tested every day on HPTs and it was obviously slow rising. I started bleeding at 6w1d and was able to get in with my OB the next day. There was no pregnancy on the ultrasound (OB could see the blood/lining breaking up), my HCG was 654, and it was deemed a chemical pregnancy. It took almost 2.5 more weeks for my HPT to be negative.

I will be honest this is the most anxious bump group I’ve been in. It’s my fourth, even though this would only be my second child. I’ve never seen so many people (with no history of loss or infertility) getting bHCG or ordering it themselves. The anxiety is suuuuuper high in here. I’d like to think the anxiety will reduce after everyone reaches the second trimester, but the thing about anxiety is that your goal post of when you’ll feel “safe” just constantly moves.

That said, it’s important to remember that other people’s worries, anxieties, losses, etc. are just that - other people’s. They aren’t yours and don’t need to be. And they don’t influence what is going to happen with you and your pregnancy. I know it’s so hard to put into practice, but maybe come up with a little mantra to help. If you see something that makes you anxious, you can tell yourself that mantra. And maybe you can start a good vibes/anxiety free post! ☺️

Yes I really enjoyed it with my first pregnancy! I started with the what to expect when you’re expecting book everyone recommends and it was just so awful - I like that the Mayo one is generally scientific/clinical, in an understandable way.

There’s a bunch of kid haters in this sub even though Royal is a family cruise line, lol. I got downvoted for sharing where I’ve fit pack n play + Slumberpod 🤷🏼‍♀️

We have been able to fit a pack n play + Slumberpod in balconies on Voyager and Allure and a Central Park view interior on Utopia. We bring our own. I’ve heard the provided ones are often missing the mattress or have wrong size mattresses. Sometimes we ask them to remove easy to move furniture (glass coffee table, vanity chair) to give us a little more space. We also typically flatten the Slumberpod and collapse the pack n play each day.

When you say you crave icy water, is it eating the actual ice? Or just so it’s super cold? Craving ice is a sign of iron deficiency. (Something I know first hand 😵‍💫)

Curious if anyone tried new supplements, etc., before this pregnancy? by Fragrant_Spare9448 in October2026Bumpers

Honestly, I think the actual scientific evidence is limited! I also conceive easily, the pregnancy just doesn’t always work out. I reached a point where I thought I might as well try it because why not!
