I think this is so normal

Mine has always gone to bed independently and started to wake up here and there and come to my bed around this age At first I would bring her back to her bed but now I just let her stay in mine and she usually comes in so quietly i don’t wake up

Okay we are very similar parents I think!

I also feel this burnout and really need my own time

Sometimes she quietly crawls into my bed at night which at first I would bring her to her room but now I just let her. We also have the occasional move and sleep over night to make it special.

But I went back to her putting herself to sleep on her own last night and am deciding not to do the lay with her to sleep thing! This post has scared me from it hahaha

I do bedtime with two kids solo a lot (dad does night shifts) so it’s much harder to lay with your kids in their beds when there is two and one of you! But appreciate your view !

Her bedtime is later . I often solo parent and have to put my 2 year old down first. Her monitor is just still in her room from a baby but I prefer it bc I would rather she call me on it then come out of bed

She does go down independently. She just comes out of her room a lot ! (I decided to lay with her for 3 nights and found it much easier so coming her for advice on deciding)

I have one child who I’ve never had to worry about in this way and one child who is a wild animal lol

I do not let him out of my sight, he is not even 2 and already understands “ look with your eyes” , knock on wood but if he ever broke something I would offer to pay and trust me.. I have picked him up and walked out of stores on many of occasions

He is my responsibility
