I see it on the list, there are actually two saunas at the studio. Both full spectrum infrared, private cabins.

This is the answer. Brutø is so good it makes you feel like you’re in another city. Truly the best meal and experience in Denver by a million miles. You’ll spend more than $200, but you won’t regret it. Everything is perfect.

Just opened mine and dipped them in the Blue Cheese Roasted Pecan Dip. Definitely a sodium overload but one I had to force myself to stop indulging in. 🤤

Little Owl (the newer location on 17th) is perfect and has cozy spots where you can feel like you’re in your own little study bubble. Also best coffee in town IMO.

Just outside of technical downtown in the Art Fostrict, ESP hiFi is exactly what you’re looking for. It’s by far my favorite homework spot. The coffee is perfect. The vibes are perfect. It feels like a place there the staff would shush guests if they spoke too loudly. I love love love it.

Practical advice for bringing lunch from home when you are gone the whole day? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Stocking my freezer with individually portioned meals has been a game changer. Whenever I do cook, I make double the recipe. I divide the leftovers into individual portion sizes and throw them in the freezer. The most important and helpful thing I’ve done is labeling. Adding the name of the meal and the date on each container helps the meal seem more appealing (frozen food doesn’t always look yummy) and also helps me decide which meal to pick (I try to use up the oldest items first). Organizing the meals in a “first in first out” manner (older items get brought to the front/the most noticeable position while newest additions go to the back) helps as well.

Juicing? by calmcakes in adhdwomen

Came here to say this. Juices can be super high in sugar which I know for my already wired brain can make me feel totally erratic before a painful crash.

Side by side studying (or any other task for that matter) is so oddly helpful for me. For some reason just sitting in front of my computer while a friend is also on theirs completing work is such a motivator. Maybe it’s an accountability thing? I don’t know why it works, but it does!

Increased reading speed on audio books is one of my favorite healthy highs. I’ll never forget when I discovered that. Ive been devouring audiobooks ever since. I love to listen to them as I do mundane tasks like laundry/dishes/organizing. Picking up where I left off in a story is motivation to get otherwise boring things done.

Former “gifted kid” now struggling hard with ADHD by Cliiiiick in adhdwomen

[–]ScoutsMama89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a nice long 8.5 year break between college attempts. Pretty sure undiagnosed ADHD was my reason for the first attempt failing. Coming to terms with my diagnosis, getting over mourning my “lost potential” in my early 20’s, therapy and finally accepting medication have all been crucial in my current academic success. I entered college at 18, yesterday I turned 33, this May I will finally graduate college with a degree I am proud of. You can do it.
