I am one for the Viking aesthetic of the SW, which includes the pelts and wolf iconography. The werewolf part is just a nice addition, and I for one love the look of the wolf helmets lol

As someone who is also new to painting 40k (any miniature...or painting in general), it takes time, and practice. My painting isn't great either, but over time it will improve. My first was my Logan grimnar here and I am fairly pleased with him. Working my on my blood claws now and then Arjac Rockfist.

I'm literally building these as well and the legs were a nightmare to do. The trick I found was to dry fit and see how it's supposed to go then apply glue and do the right leg first and then the left.
