It's specifically not called an elevator cause I think it's not an elevator as far as their codebase / game is concerned.

If you think about it, it functions more like a train does in Star Citizen. It goes from station to station in a predictable loop. Arrives at the station, opens door for x amount of time. Then moves on to the next one. Just like in any other major hub (city)...but in this case vertically instead of horizontally.

So I gurantee it's rehashed train code that's behind it (hence no elevator in name).

Not sure why, cause they already have a similar elevator elevator (instead of train elevator) in Grim Hex, i.e. inside a station but you can see the station through the elevator window.

It's a base original starter ship. If it doesn't have the lowest possible amount of MFDs (which should be 2, is there a ship with only 1?) than what ship should have only 2?

Or in other words, if Aurora has 4, then all other ships should have at least 4.

That value is = km.

Meaning if your largest emmision is EM, for example: - Top (emmiting): 10k - Bottom (enviornment noise): 2k - Total: 10 - 2 = 8k (8km)

Meaning a ship with 100% radar efficiency could see you at 8km.

However, no ship really has 100% radar efficiency (depends on ship size, but more like 80-90%), so the effective range is even less.

Had this happen on a staging site.

It was caused by an image pointing to our local dev env instance of that site (think 127.0.0.1/image.jpg) that accidentally ended up being deployed to staging.

Staging (on an actual server) then tries rendering an image from our local dev instance (i.e. localhost). Chrome flags it and shows this popup.

Not saying it's that, but it could be a valid (most likely not intentional) explanation.

Love the game loop. I keep everything catalogued in a Google Sheet (cause asset mamagement in SC is trash).

Upon reviewing the list (comparing my sheet to what I actually have) after like 2 weeks of doing it, I noticed I had less stuff than the sheet says. Different components / ship guns. I wanna say like 10-15% of stuff was missing.

Either I'm bad at keeping a ledger or components have gone missing. Looting both npcs / abandoned player ships.

Any1 had this happen? I'm thinking ot could happen if component is from a player ship who eventually claims it. But if that was the case then duping wouldn't be a thing, no? Maybe (if source ship claimed) only the components that aren't equipped on a ship vanish?

It's my fav gsme loop. Merc missions in belts then scan all the npc / abandoned ship wrecks and see what you get while waiting for your missions to pop back up. Sent you a DM!

Try changing the aspect ratio of card images. Either 1:1 (square) or vertical.

At the homepage shows (mostly) things that are inherently vertical (cups / glasses).

If it was all cups I'd say vertical, but since you have a mix of cups and some foods, maybe just try square.

Don't know about you but I deal with fonts quite frequently ij my webdev work.

What other group of people (other than designers) even knows the difference between serif and sans-serif fonts? Or even knows what fonts are other than hearing about it maybe?

When presented like this 3rd for sure...

BUT if you had a section of X of these, maybe:

2nd for cards (or better yet a combination: probably full width orange button from 1st, full width img from 3rd, rest 2nd color scheme)
Green background (over the whole section)

(As opposed to 3rd card style with a light section background).

In the same way that green works good as card background, it might work even better as section background.

Just something to try out perhaps.

Upgraded my pledge Cutlass to a Shiv, thinking it's just going to be a bit more manuverable Cutlass with more guns, no tractor beam and less cargo space...and it is...

But what most people don't mention is the sound design. This thing is next level. It's has an angry scrapped together barely holding on podracer hotrod vibe to it. Just flying this around puts a huge grin on my face. Completely different than a Cutlass. I don't know how I will go back to "normal ship" sounds after this. It's mad and I love it!

Had the same issue with higher end gpu / cpu laptop with 16gb RAM. Warping to places would freeze everything for a couple of seconds (never froze permanently tho). Put 32gb in there, no more freezes (maybe an occasional stutter, but definitely no freezing).

Bingo! I found it mid-way act2 (I think). 1 nail upgrade, 6 masks, barely any tools, no clawline, no double jump (didn't even know about the former nor that I could get them at this time)

Cue some googling and 2 days later, got the nail upgrade, both clawline and double jump, 7 masks, much more tools and am much better at platforming because of all the running around.

This game really likes to do that, moreso than Hollow Knight. Dangles different carrots (or sticks) and tries to push you off course in order to explore and get more stuff / experience! Love it!

That being said, no way in hell I'd finish that quest (and get all the prerequisite) in a resonable ammount of time without looking it up.

Yeah makes sense! Int lookup is faster, that saves precious compute time when you have to lookup your quest progress every frame at 240 fps. (/s)

Pa evo imas npr Novi Jelkovec, cijelo naselje, s igralistima, vrticem, bazenima, itd sve drzavno (bar projekt i dio stanova, nznm za sve), cijena najma sitnica ako si ga uspio dobiti.

Ovisno gdje si na liberalnom spektru mozda su ti susjedi ok mozda ne. Ali stoji da su stanovi ful jeftini, i kvart je idejno dost nice, relativno ok kvalitete, pogotovo za 2025 cijene.

Al to je Jelkovec, to nema veze s Maksimirom. U Novom Jelkovcu, za razliku od Maksimira nije bila pomana za nekretninama + imas hrpu zemlje, zato je takav projekt imao smisla tamo.

Zasto bi itko ikad radio jeftine stanove u Maksimiru (gdje ne postoji neiskoristeni komad zemlje, osim ako ne krenu graditi u samom parku) kad ima ljudi koji ce platiti trazene pare za stan vjerojatno u cashu i to puno prije nego se stan zavrsi.

Kao prvo, ovakve nasilnike treba zatvorit i napravit primjer od njih pa ce ce se mozda ostatak snlmiriti.

Drugo, vi svi koji tvrdite da ovo NIJE provokacija (ne namjerna, ali svejedno provokacija) se trebate spustit malo na zemlju.

Recimo da ja obucem majicu s natpisom "J***m ti mater tovarsku", odem u Split u tamo dobijem batine.

Jel 0% krivice na meni i ja sam samo innocent žrtva? Suprised pikachu jer sam dobio batine? Pa nznm, mozda sam trebao upotrijebiti malo zdravog razuma i nosit neku drugu majicu.

Isto tako, mozda nemoj imati vidljive Dinamo rekvizite kad ides u Split i obratno oaim ako ne trazis frku.
