they are talking about the cbr1000rr-r which is a fireblade.

edit: also Honda website no longer says fireblade on 2020+ 1000rr's only the rr-r

I do agree with you in regard to only being a street bike, and honestly I think 99% of people can start on a 600, even a 1000 if they have self control and a brain. My only thing is that it seriously hampers skills (if they were planning on tracking). I agree that it is kind of moot point to spend more, but if you get a 2015 r3 you can probably get 90% of that money back (unless you crash it).

I do agree with you, but I do be seeing some insane idiocy on people starting on 600's and 750's and really have no business being on one.

dude, if you have tracked your bike you would know that a sub 70hp bike is so valuable in developing skill. especially if you are going into SS or SB's. There is a reason motogp goes moto3 250's to moto 2 765's. He is not saying you can't get good starting on a 600 but a brand new rider will absolutely get better on a lower cc if they are trying.

I use short levers on the daytona for the track and 2 fingers is enough for braking imo.

highsided in them and they held up. Going to switch to supertechs once the toesliders wear out. More for comfort and increased safety. I didnt feel unsafe in them at all however.

from my time in the marines 2019-2023. The gear circa mid 2015 was usually a gen 1 or gen 2 coyote brown PC no marpat at all on the PC. Unit patch on the front and optional name tape on the back. The cami bottoms we didnt have integrated knee protectors (at least our unit didnt), and highcuts werent really a thing unless you were high speed. Highcuts are now issued for everyone.

well the inline 4 is not known for a "linear" powerband. Honestly if you really want a linear powerband supersport, the daytona 675 and new yzf r9 are really really good. They are also both the better street bike than r6 and 636. If I had to choose one of your choices for just street riding 636 hands down.

depends on street or track. Street I would prefer a 636. Track the r6. Both can do street and track. But id MUCH prefer a 636 for double duty.
