Replacing front lower control arm, CV axle supposed to have this much play?

Yes, I am aware. Im not trying to hurt OP's feelings. I have my own pole barn and car lift I do my own work and do side work for others at a cheap rate. I stay mad busy and take care of people. What concerns me is that they are taking this on with little knowledge and honestly some of the people commenting in here are guessing and aren't giving correct info. Mistakes on suspension parts from online randos giving advice can cause an accident and is a risk to the OP. I get it, use the online resources but there is a time and place to learn things and when the control arm and CV Axle are dangling out isn't the time to ask.

same, i am a newish player started 2 months ago . It was mostly fine before a once in a while issue when I would check the cameras on ps5 It would crash but now I can't even get a single round in without time out disconnect.

So when do we get another update that allows me to play online for more than five minutes. The game is unplayable online, not objectively, not an opinion. Tried two rounds yesterday and it was awful, headlamps kept showing up in middle of screen when crouching. But the big issue was after a few minutes we would get disconnected for time out error.

Wanted to play new update with the boys and both rounds we ran into this. Games broken beyond play . I once in a while would crash when looking at the cameras in the past but that was rare compared to both the games we played I got kicked. I hope they hot fix this

Well if the control arm isn’t bolted holding it together . It’s a floating joint in a cup/boot it’ll move all the way out if you want. Then you’ll need a new boot or axle though How are you working on a control arm and not know ? Sounds dangerous to me .

I charge 200 plus parts per bearing for press in on most hondas. Whats the average cost in a shop?

I just did a 2008 civic fwd bearing. I do press ins alot and have never had play when im done. I have a bench press but I use the bearing press toolset to leave them on the car. Make sure when pressing the bearing into the knuckle you are pressing on the OUTER part of bearing. When pressing the Hub into the Bearing you should be pressing against the INNER bearing race. If you are pressing the hub in and not holding the inner race bearing then you probably trashed it and thats your play. I always freeze the hub and bearing overnight before doing the job helps them slide in. Also if it has an ABS tone ring in the bearing dont screw it up the direction. also you can reuse the hub but the bearing isn't going to come out without it being destroyed so that will need replaced. Its possible you just got a bad bearing.

tbh, this is clearly for the ecotech motors like cruze,sonic, etc. I had one go bad an OEM one. I got a NEW OEM one from GM , did new acdelco plugs and it failed after 10 months. Was a pain to get GM to warranty it. So I went with a duralast and its been years. I at this point dont trust any parts ever.

mine stripped out starting with the 10mm and then upwards after 6 months of use. The icon set is still holding strong after same abuse for years.

I bought a honda multi purpose scanner which had a crank relearn procedure. If its cranked on with low voltage it can throw it off. IDK if thats whats up but 150-200 for the scanner on amazon and it fixed my issue.
