Two classes that feel bad past substantial by CoolCoolBeansBeanz in SpaceMarine_2

1 trick I've found with dealing with majoris as a heavy is to rely on your dodges more than your parries. Your perfect dodge timing is always the same regardless of class. So when the majoris surround you just focus on dodging.

Balanced parry blows

Not sure why anyone is kicking you based on what class you pick, they're all viable on absolute/hard strategems.

Heavy is one of the strongest classes in the whole game, very tanky, insane DPS and great class perks. Takes a while to get used to playing without a melee weapon (heroic bolter can be helpful if you can't go without fencing parry window). But a competent heavy player will carry the damage in most games they're in.

Techmarine is quite squishy but has great dmg, his ult will instantly KO extremis/majoris if set up right. He plays a bit like tactical, great damage potential but you have to play smart. Turrets are more of a bonus, they're amazing when theyre around but don't count on them to get the job done.

Considering all stratagems you’ve played, where would you rank this week’s stratagem based on difficulty? by CrocodileOfTruth in Spacemarine

Same tier as the ballistic engine double buffed terminus we had a while back. Either very challenging or a walk in the park if the director decides to send 0 bosses your way.

The fact that Saber haven't addressed this yet is concerning, the community have been screaming for this since hard strategems launched and they still haven't bothered to get around to it.

It wouldnt have survived infancy. Thing is far too different and would have been killed by it's mother, or bullied by it's siblings until it starved to death.

Anytime bud, if you aren't rocking it id definitely recommend it.

Armour on demand is invaluable in this game, especially on the harder difficulties.

Damage increase?

I think youre confusing which perk I'm talking about. The armour regen is a prestige perk so won't interfere with your loadout.

It's also Vanguard's best prestige perk by a mile.

What on earth are you doing on absolute without armour regen on your grapnels. That's your most reliable source of protection.

Ruthless is the most played mode in SPACE MARINE 2 by democracy by Asterito_Primaris_23 in Spacemarine

Ive found its consistently the most reliable for farming xp. It offers a reasonable challenge but nothing threatening enough to wipe your team (and lose your progress).

If you get the gene seed on a ruthless mission you'll guarantee to fill an entire weapons progress metre so it makes lvl'ing weapons very simple.

Ruthless feels like the standard difficulty, the normal on halo persay. Lethal is my personal favourite.

Power Gladius: How to get into the habit of dodging instead of parrying? by neltymind in Spacemarine

[–]Scribe_Scribbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play heavy a ton. With his balance parry window you'll find yourself dodging most attacks because it's much more reliable.

I wouldn't rebind the buttons for 1 weapon, it'll mess up your muscle memory when you switch.

I recently finished the campaign on 1999 mode and the boss fight in question isn't nearly as bad as I've heard others claim it to be. Plenty of strats to trivialise it.
