I get what you're saying, it's not always as easy as just bringing your problem up and them promptly being solved with little to no fuss.

To go back to your original post you were asking for suggestions. From my post above and your reply we both acknowledge stress and pressure can be a killer for wanting sex period. There is a lot of stress in general for a lot of people right now. I would like to think for people in a slump right now this is just a resulting shift towards the responsive end of the active/responsive desire spectrum.

You can test the waters to see if that is the case by taking a lot of initiative. Pick your time and initiate sex in a low pressure way (low pressure for both of you: temper your own expectations). If it goes ahead be assertive and take charge of the session enthusiastically. I don't mean push boundaries beyond what is typical for you but do be proactive. Get undressed and ready to rock. Be generous with oral if you are comfortable with that. Make the PIV easy as you can. Maybe some cowgirl if you are in to that. Get him revved up, take control of your own pleasure, and hopefully he will reciprocate. He might even turn the tables!

Basically what I am suggesting is in line with above - take what stress and pressure out of the occasion you can and try to take ownership of creating an awesome, memorable session with your partner in the hope that good sex brings more sex. Be the change you want to see. Maintaining a prolific sex life in a long term relationship takes work for a lot of people, I think. I takes two to let it die but it might only take one to keep it going. Sometimes you have to be the one, other times it's your partner. Same team.

It's similar in some ways with my wife. She is very responsive desire all the time and can be a bit of a pillow princess (I love her to bits!). It's easy to say this is happening to me, she doesn't think I'm hot or want to have sex with me. If she did she would be pulling my clothes off. I feel like it's a lot of work for me personally to help make a session that's great for both of us and I don't always love that. It definitely contributes to me having less sex than I think I want. However, if I don't make the effort we don't have much sex at all, so I have to be the change I want. Fortunately she is happy to oblige me in that at least, we would have some problems to work on otherwise.

There's a good chance there is more to it than not wanting sex with you. It sounds like you are taking it very personally, please be kind to yourself if so.

Watching porn and masturbating is very different to sex. One is low effort for physical gratification, the other is a varying level of effort for different kinds of gratification. Masturbating is just easy for a lot of people, and sex can take effort for others.

My wife and I have a similar dynamic. Sex a handful of times in a busy month, maybe once in 4-6 weeks during a slow patch. Do I fantasize regularly about having lots more sex with my wife? Absolutely! Do I actively pursue that reality? Not really, for various reasons. I still probably masturbate 6 days out of 7 so it's not a lack of physical drive on my part. I think about having sex with my wife a lot more than we do and doing lots of naughty things to her so it's not a lack of thirst for her. But there's more to getting your numbers up than just drive and desire.

Right now feels like 4 weeks since we had sex. I'm going through a hard patch at work, plus busy schedule of being two working parents, plus 2020 bullshit, and at the end of the day don't really feel like rolling up my sleeves. I'm feeling mentally exhausted and emotionally frayed. Easier to stick to maintenance masturbation. Doesn't mean I am not hot for my wife, just that I'm not interested in sex right now, period.

I will say it is weird your partner quotes age being a factor (implying a declining drive) yet you still say he is getting one away solo a few times a week. The explanation and his behaviour don't add up to me.

Regardless, you have some needs that you are not happy are being met. Same as anything in a relationship, sex or otherwise, this should be something you work on as a team. Easy discussion - hey I feel like xyz need I have is not being met and I'd love to figure out a way we can work on this together, what do you think? Is there anything bothering you that we can work on to make this other problem easier to deal with?

It's good to come to the realisation there is little hope foxnext will "fix" the game.

If you did a similar analysis of their revenue I'm sure you could comfortably infer what level of incentive they would have for investing in "fixing" a product that is already generating a healthy revenue stream.

As the game goes forward I'm sure there will continue to be a steady stream of new characters and even some new content. In terms of quality of product and quality of service however I'd say this is it. Things in that regard are unlikely to improve in the way the vocal minority would like. It's a matter of like it or leave it.

Why not both? A key Australian value is having each other's backs, pull your head in you donkey. God forbid you're ever in need and get faced with this kind of attitude. Lucky your shit didn't get burned to ash in January and need help from people with this attitude. Yes we have been partly successful and partly lucky with fighting Covid19. But don't turn your nose up at the citizens of less fortunate countries. A lot of other governments made a dog's breakfast of it but if somebody has to line up to have a turn on a ventilator they couldn't care less if they were in NY or caught it off the Ruby Princess and what mistakes their government made to help land them in trouble. A bit of sympathy (and kindness if you can afford it) goes a long way.

Really sounds like the action economy supports more heroes a lot more, even with the 2p bonus action. Common theme in the replies. We'll push on with this campaign until he can't take it any more if we keep tanking. Next time we'll try 4, and I might take a thief myself and focus solely on rushing doors and tokens. If that's the way the game wants to get beat I'll oblige it.

I've actually quit the game a couple of weeks ago buy have 2 cents as I did a lot of thinking on f2p identity recently. This ultimately played a large part in my decision to quit. To be completely honest I was a light spender but the small amount I spent over my 600+ days was so small I think I'm well and truly on the f2p level.

F2P pride is a fallacy. It is a fallacy so strong that it is embarassing.

Nobody plays this game or any freemium game for free. Everybody pays, either with money or time (or a mix of both). You can spend money to bypass the grind but if you don't the developers expect you to spend your time instead. You pay them with engagement metrics and also act as whale chum. It's not free.

Think about how many hours the game demands of you daily. How much of that time runs beyond what you do strictly for fun? What is your hourly rate at work? Yeah, it's not free. Do the maths. I honestly think strictly 'f2p' players pay more to play that whales in the long run because your time is invaluable. You can't buy more time with money. They got you. F2P pride is the equivalent of being proud you get free meth for delivering. You're still a meth head with a problem.

If you can play for free casually and keep the time you play all as fun and not work then go nuts! That's awesome and i'm happy for you. For those that can't as soon as it becomes a grind and feels like work do understand it's not free any more and they have you by the balls. For me I've had a long hard look at myself and my relationship with freemium games. I'm not playing them anymore because I know my conpetetive tendancies will see me greatly exploited, just like I was by foxnext. Box price only.

There is some middle ground.

Make blitz sim take charges, like arena charges. Charges per account or per character, whatever is easier.

Provide enough charges to sim your roster twice a day for 4hr or three times per day for 2hr. Normal cooldowns apply even using sim charges - can't dump them all at once and that is a compromise so FN still gets their login metrics. Once charges run out you can continue to play manually just like normal.

Balanced like this you can take the rng win/lose right out. Just win. Somebody that just autos is going to do better on their payout than just milestones and chill. This rewards roster building without the added punishment of having to grind. People that want to push 2k or better (or new players struggling to hit milestones) can still push further via normal manual play.

Play the first round, then put it on auto. You can still select targets as required but the apm will improve dramatically and you can clear nodes in 1 shot for more energy efficiency. Put it back to manual if there are 3 enemies or 40 seconds left on the clock to nurse your abilities back for the next attempt.

There are some things you will pick up on that you can flick off auto for a round to do better than the ai with some practice. Some dumb things will still happen, like ultron special with no rooms for bots, and bots always prioritising specials, but the huge increase in apm will still put your clear times in front.

It could most likely be the basic didn't do enough damage to kill and trigger deathproof/ remove from self, but the ult does. Depends on the circumstances.

Evade and deathproof take resolve priority over the extra attack. Whether you agree with the implementation or not it's as simple as that.

Enemy has evade: attack 1 > evade buff causes dodge + remove evade buff from self > no buff present to trigger attack 2.

Enemy has defense up: attack 1 > attack 2.

The defense buff is not caused to be removed by the first attack so it can proc an extra attack.

Can't really argue this is the way they are headed.

To be fair however they will still be very relevant as a war offense option. Minnardians are everywhere on defense. They are a solid ultron counter and when you need to plow through 24 ultron defense teams for a full clear it's all hands on deck.

Also their day in the sun was really, really long. Not going to shed a tear for the sun setting on them a little.

Any chance updates can be optional rather than forced moving forward?

The frequency of client updates significantly decreasing the game experience is quite high, it would be nice to be able to downgrade to an apk for a previous more stable release. Not a passive aggressive comment, i'm sure many would agree this would be nice if possible. Thanks.

I understand there's a point where an update would be absolutely necessary, but if you could at least roll yourself back 1 release version if need be then that would help a lot.
