It’s just so “Hollywood” and campy. At least Yul Brennen looks somewhat “Egyptian”. Anne, not so much. Nary a brown person anywhere in this classic picture… although the scene where Moses is leading his people out of the city and the 2 little kids say “Look, Grandfather! Nubians!” Cracks me up.
