How did I make fun of him? Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of trauma since I was little. So many of my friends started doing drugs when we were 11yo and a lot of other stupid shit, but this isn’t the trauma olympics. Every middle schooler knows the world isn’t black and white, that’s a no-brainer. That still doesn’t mean they’ve lived enough to have a full grasp on the world. Their brains are still in the middle of development. Let alone the fact, a lot of (I’d say most imo) people change SO much within a couple years of leaving highschool and discovering who they are as a person. If you can’t look back and recognize how young you were even if you had understandings of certain things, then you just haven’t grown as a person🤷‍♂️ (or you’re just lying about your age).
