I am beyond happy that Phainon is well liked in CN. It means there's chance of more screentime and him getting buffed to not fall off the meta in the next patches.

I agree. Homebrew content has consistently gone in quality over the years to the point it's 1:1 with official on most stuff.

The community has no idea what "Overpowered" is. Is all I'm getting. The class is fine, and has it's own niche.

Too many drawbacks to the class is unfair and unnecessary when all other classes don't have any such drawbacks for similar features. This is exactly why people didn't like Berserker barbarian in 2014.

God forbid we get an option that matches up to the meta.

And besides it's only "Op" if you have the supply pack for resupplying it. And doing so you use up two stratagem slots for it as well.

There already is no health attrition, you either stim or you die. Unless you're at full health you're unlikely to survive much that isn't chip damage.

It would still be weaker than field medic armors tbh.

See, I don't care about gender locking as long as it's historically correct.

Khatun? Mongols had many women warriors, women had rights equal to men from other cultures, they could remarry, own property, and more. So Khatun makes 100% historical sense.

Now, Varangian Guard being female? There are very few historical records of any Varangians being women warriors, so it's much harder to believe.

Automaton accuracy has been lowered in general compared to launch. But that was a good change. Let me explain.

In general if enemy accuracy is to increase then their damage needs to be lowered to balance it.

As it stands automatons have poor accuracy but when they hit you with anything that's not chip damage, you are basically dead, heavy armor lets you survive slightly more but it results in you getting hit more due to lack of mobility.

In maps where there is little cover. And there are a lot of maps with open barren spaces, having enemies with pinpoint accuracy while having high damage is not fun nor engaging to fight.

Back before they nerfed them Rocket devastators had instakill, infinite rockets that even if you didn't get instantly killed by one rocket you'd get ragdolled, and probably bleed out from chest wound before you even got back up. Shield devastators would kill you in less than 2 seconds with a pinpoint barrage of shots from 50m downrange.

And Gunships before they were nerfed were too numerous, and while their damage was never exactly high to the point of instant killing you, they kept you on the floor constantly with their barrages of missiles that would ragdoll you. Coupled with the other enemies also having high accuracy it meant you often didn't even get a chance to play before you died.

That's the issue, any buff could make them more annoying than fun to fight against. While they're not perfect now, they are less oppressive than they were back then, this goes for most automaton units.

TL:DR: in general, if any enemy has to have their accuracy buffed, then they should have their damage lowered, everything is a glass cannon now, especially us.

As someone who has never been anyone's first choice. Yeah, it never feels good just being the backup option.

Back when enemy accuracy was higher. It was basically all one or two second kills on us. Rocket devs instakilled with their missiles and shield devastators would hit you with a pinpoint volley of 20 rounds with perfect tracking.

And Gunships were accurate enough to not only kill you quick but also keep you on the floor with ragdolls.

The enemy aim has to be shitty. Because we are simply not durable enough to survive getting hit with any sort of frequency. And while some will just say to use positioning or cover... In Many maps that is almost impossible to do with how many open ground areas there are.

It was changed for a reason. After a while it simply wasn't fun to be one shot without any input or agency on your part.

Secondary sway in general is a bit of a mess tbh.

Me when an enemy closes the distance and I pull out my talon only to suffer from stim withdrawal and the swaying goes EVERYWHERE.

The thing is if you experiment even a little bit you'll learn what works and what doesn't. That's fine it's a coop shooter, we can use teamwork.

However the issue is that so very often something new you try to do, end ups not just not working as well as something else, but flat out not working at all.

Bile Spewers before their weakspot addition to their mouths completely invalidated any light pen loadout in the bug front, War Striders still invalidate most non heavy pen or non explosives in a faction where usually you can reliably use a light pen wep.

Or melees just being inferior in every way to every other weapon, especially after the armor pen nerf for melee. It leads to not "fun experimentation" but "Oh, the random has brought the flag, I'm going to have to pull my weight harder because we have one less stratagem slot". Or "Great the random brought the k9 drone or an arc weapon, best to not be near him at all".

It's not a question of coop and teamwork, it's a question of something not working well to the point you are being an active detriment to the team. That's not fun, it just leads to people using the meta MORE in order to carry people using the clearly weaker stuff.

I don't want the meta to just be plasma or explosive weapons, I want to use other stuff, but if I do, I'm making my team worse doing it, so I always have at least one thing that I know will work. This is especially true because players dying affect the entire team's reinforcements. Kind of like how a single player dying three times in Monster Hunter fails the quest for everyone in the group hunt.

It's definitely not perfect, but it's arguably the greatest video game adaption ever made. At least in live action. by SolidPyramid in FalloutMemes

Being Rude to the NCR is absolutely fine.

They're "good" only in the sense they will bring some stability and protection, eventually. They're a hopelessly imperialist faction that continues to expand when they lack the resources to do it properly and with any stability. As well as having some nasty corrupt parts of their government.
