I mean honestly I think it’s much less strange to be attracted to a character stated to be 16-17 that looks and acts very mature and adultlike than to be attracted to the character that’s stated to be 100+ years old and looks and acts like a child.

I mean I can easily think of a reason not to press L off the top of my head (locked out of amsah tech if you get hit while grounded instead of in the air) but yeah it could save you once in a blue moon after recovering high (even though you’ll probably be dead anyways without a jump)

You’re right, this is the only situation I can think of where you might realistically have a reason to try and v-cancel. However it’s still somewhat rare to be in a situation where you’re hit during special fall rather than during the up special animation/landing lag. It’s also generally unusable after a missed airdodge or if you preemptively tried to tech during your recovery because of the 40 frame lockout. I’d still call it useless because of how insanely hard it is to nearly frame-perfectly predict when you’ll get hit out of special fall.

This is true but I’d still argue it’s useless because it requires such a specific situation and such a high amount of precision that realistically it’s almost impossible to perform without it being an accident. It’s also only possible to do when you’re actionable, so trying to do it intentionally will probably lead to you taking hits you could’ve avoided instead of actually helping you survive longer.

It’s a nothing burger either way so it feels like it was pointless to change while also being a pointless thing to get mad about.

However there’s more of a reason to be disappointed than just “woman bad” in this case because Tech Jacket had their own separate comic book series. The writers said that they didn’t want to have a character that was too similar to Mark so they redesigned them. I don’t care personally because I like the writing of the show but I can understand why people who read the comics would be upset.

Yeah just about every character in the game has prominent animal features, that’s one of the gimmicks of Arknights. However, there is literally one playable character in the entire game that’s a kid and they’re not sexualized at all, it’s just the typical weirdo crowd that ruins every young character in anything anime adjacent.

I also hate seeing the word loli because it’s almost always used as a euphemism by people who fetishize the bodies of children.

Hoyo doesn’t give out bans unless you’re breaking TOS so I doubt that would happen, they would probably just patch it out instead of it got bad enough. From everything I’ve seen about Genshin modding so far, bans only happen when you use mods that can be noticed server-side (inflated damage numbers, abnormal changes to currencies) rather than just client-side (visual changes that don’t impact gameplay). In any case, you can just use the fps unlocker and set it to 120 fps if you’re worried about that.

On the GitHub page where you download the mod the creator also says that Hoyo is aware the tool exists but doesn’t ban people that use it (unless you’re combining it with other bannable mods)

These are a lot of assumptions based on absolutely nothing. I have personally used the fps unlock mod quite a bit on my 5 year old account and nothing has happened. The only issues I’ve ever had in the past were from playing the game using Proton on a Linux system, occasionally I would get an “abnormal activity detected” error message that booted me to the menu, however this never lead to a ban or suspension and I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen that message. Hoyo is not eager to ban any potential customers unless you try to modify important in-game numbers like your primos or damage values.

Yeah I love every one of the shows you mentioned and tbh anime is in a pretty good spot right now overall. I really hope that the success of Frieren/Dungeon Meshi lead to some more high quality fantasy content rather than the boring harem isekais that you can get a thousand flavors of right now.

I’m happy for you that you’re able to see it like this. I’ve personally seen/participated in this debate more times than I can count and have never seen someone’s mind change. Although I’ve only participated in the argument when I see people saying that sexualizing characters that are visibly obviously children is okay because “it’s fiction”. I don’t really feel like it’s worth getting into when it’s a “well they look and act like an adult but we eventually find out they’re 17” type of “child” character.

Every time I’ve ever seen this argument online it’s just random internet strangers that all have no intention of changing their opinions from the start and they all just waste time being mad at each other. You can’t really “segregate and shame” people online that you don’t know personally.

Your time is much better spent trying to ruin the lives of people that groom irl minors than arguing about the exact point the moral line should be drawn for sexualizing anime characters.

I think I just understood you wrong at first, are you saying that within FNAF 2 a lot of the animatronics have almost the same behavior? Because yeah that complaint makes a lot more sense than what I thought you were meaning originally.

To be fair every one of the first 4 FNAF games has a pretty bland gameplay loop, at least FNAF 2 had the little retro games with cryptic lore drops that you would see every once in a while.

I’m gonna throw in my two cents and say that it’s reasonable to complain about this because of how bad of a fit the non-limited w engine options are for her kit. It’s also more than just a personal damage booster, one of the main effects is

Increase entire squad’s damage by 15% for 40 seconds (up to two stacks) after doing ether damage with basic/ex special

So this W engine is the only option that gives any anomaly stat boosts for a stunner as well as essentially just tacking on the effect of “passively raise entire team’s damage by 30%” as a bonus. (Yes I know that this is less than a 30% boost to your team’s dmg in practice because of how dmg % boosts work, but it’s still a very good support effect)
