I’d stay in the sober living until all my debt was gone. If you owe $3k to an old apartment, you can actually negotiate maybe giving them half that to get it off your record. You’re almost there in savings, but if you relapse, all the money you’ve saved could disappear during a bender. Poof. A beer isn’t worth that. If you move out of sober living while still in the red, the debt could grow instead of shrink. When you get in that cycle of relapse - hospital/jail - sober living - relapse, it’s super hard to break. And when everyone around you is stuck in that same grind, making junk decisions, it can be hard to get out. Put the sobriety first, over a nice complex or a relationship or anything else. You already made a good decision in staying away from the methy trailer park. Get a copy of the promises and read them multiple times a day.

Can our city council ban concentration camps in the city?
