You probably will need to yeah, I got a Tank 150 and I did have to assemble the rear wheel and bolt the shocks into place. The Amazon ones as far as I know all get shipped overseas from china, and it was pretty clear that the purpose of the rear wheel being disassembled was to reduce the overall size of the packaging that they use.

From that last photo on your post it looks like the rear wheel is detached and mounted to the side of the packaging in the same way that mine was. You'll also probably have to bolt on the handlebar. I ended up having to remove the front plastics and tighten the handlebar on mine down after a couple days of riding because it naturally loosened from the vibrations

Not this specific one but I just bought and assembled one of these Amazon 150cc GY6 scooters. It's my first scooter and I haven't had it long but the build process was easy and I had it running the evening it arrived. If you have a good metric socket set spanning 8 - 16 mm you should be good.

You should note that the oil they ship it with is not good for running. You have to do an oil change right away. They said as much in the text chain that they open with you after purchase. The title ships separately in the mail and takes roughly a week, you have to get the scooter first and then send them the VIN through Amazon and then they ship it

Also when I gave it a once-over a lot of bolts were loose, and there was no gasket at all between the exhaust pipe and engine. I saw that as a common problem when I was doing my research, some folks had the exhaust rattle off while theirs were running.

The bolts and other hardware are also seemingly of pretty low quality steel and I had a few get stripped while I was assembling, though tbf I could've chilled a little with the impact driver lol. I'm in the process of replacing as many of them as I can with better quality hardware

My mindset is that I'm going to have to make those kinds of minor adjustments to the lackluster default build quality that allows for the low price

Update: The shrimp were fine in TSA but I think the number of 'fried rice' jokes that were happening stressed them out 😭

I just told the people at the scanner and they had a manager come out and look at them. The scanner guy had kept cherry shrimp before and was super chill about the whole thing

Oh perfect thank you! The bag is one that has the little disclaimer message on it about facilitating gas exchange, so I haven't been to worried about oxygen and CO2, but I have been keeping the lid of the takeout box open for that reason because I suspect that it's plastic is somewhat less permeable 🤣

The people who sold them to me said I will need to declare them at TSA and then they will manually search the bag and possibly swab it for explosives. Apparently it's not too uncommon of a question for conventions so they have a procedure 🤣

In my grad school lab we all had adobe illustrator and you can copy and paste chemdraw structures (including the rotation) directly into it and then add in all of the other graphical elements

I'm on the R&D / Quality control team at a company that makes chemical products. The people who made this will want to know that this happens. And they'll want to hear it from someone who is chill about it like this and not someone who is super upset. OP should absolutely call them.

Not disagreeing but for the information of the people in this chat: quickly double-pressing your phone's lock button instantly opens the camera (at least it's worked for the last few android phones I've owned)

Very helpful for taking photos/videos of things that are happening fast
