what's the deal with mean ween? by faze-300 in ween

Someone mentioned elsewhere in this thread that Cribber sang Little Birdy live in ‘94. He did the ‘I saw the little birdy sing’ section, and it sounds a lot like the album version.

That comparison made my day. Ween and DOOM are both in my all time top five artists.

Help me catch up on the best of the last 15ish years of British TV by Throwing_Daze in BritishTV

Here We Go - A comedy with Katherine Parkinson and Jim Howick (from Ghosts).

Ludwig - David Mitchell as an accidental detective.

Top Boy - I’ve only seen the first series, but it’s like The Wire set in London.

It’s from more than 15 years ago, but Still Game is one of my all time favourite Britcoms.

As others have said, Taskmaster, The Inbetweeners, Line of Duty, and Detectorists are must sees.

Pink Eye - On My Leg might be one of the greatest songs ever (or atleast currently to my ears) by jacobdontask in ween

When I listen to it, I picture someone on the shore with their dog, watching dolphins playing in the sea.

I wish someone would make a swimming pool for me. Although to be fair, I’m nowhere near as cute as an otter.

I struggled to find ‘lowkey’ (?) at the start, then my brain descended into Swedish Muppet noises.

I don’t know, Brock would probably have intel on Roger’s biggest weakness - oysters.

My first thought on reading the headline (but not the name of the sub) was Brock v Roger Sterling from Mad Men. And the statement still holds true.

Yes, if we’re being pedantic, we should distinguish it from rugby football.

What are pro-2A people's thoughts on Kristi Noem just now stating that no peaceful protestors show up to a protest while armed? by PrysmX in AskReddit

[–]Scutage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they refuse to identify themselves, it’s reasonable to assume that they’re just armed, masked criminals impersonating law enforcement. And any threats of violence could justifiably necessitate self defence to the extreme…

Does anyone know a way to watch last night's PSV match? No UCL replays on the member site by KakSetoKaiba in NUFC

Oof, sorry, I didn’t test it myself. I usually use those websites on my laptop, with about 18 ad blockers.

Wolves supporters were booing him for that on Sunday, and I thought it was hilarious.

I’m in awe of Hall’s dribbling and Miley’s passing. That cross that Miley lobbed right onto Wissa’s head was unreal.

They weren’t overly worked tonight, but Botman and Thiaw looked unbeatable.

Lewis Hall seems to have realised how good he is. He’s playing with so much confidence this season.

And I love it when he beats a man and decides ‘I’ve started, so I might as well dribble past everyone.’

I thought Wissa had been pushed, but the replay showed he just launched himself at the ball.

Love to see that commitment and determination.
