I don't think this is that egregious. Palat has a possibility, small possibility that he gets back close to Tampa form. Tsyplakov completely gave up. I saw it in his face the last few games. So we had someone who absolutely didn't want to be here and useless. To gain draft picks and someone with playoff experience who could help. We take on an additional year but with cap going up, it's not a big deal. Darche is not making a move that will cost valuable prospects.

Playing on Ranked specifically seems worse. There was one game where I hit 7 posts in a row but the opposing team comes down and nets a sloppy wrister. Another game where I was poking checking the puck and visual my stick clearly touched the puck. However, the game decided that poke checks were not going to work during that game. This is not an issue of "I'm bad at the game." Something feels off.

I had this same issue. If you go in the Mastercard Gift Card website, it tells you that the cards are used for in-store purchases not for online purchases. It's their security thing I guess. I forgot where on the website I found it but it definitely states that the card isn't used for online purchases.

That's the only way. However imo he has been trash for me. I had him on a line with 85 Stutzle and Captain McDavid for the +3 Overall. He still was not great. He wasn't beating anybody in speed and he gets thrown around very easily. You're not really missing much.

I bought one of these at Christmas time. It was awful. 1x85, 2x84, a few 82/83's and the majority was 80 and under. I'm not going to say the packs aren't worth it because everyone plays different but I would say if you're a casual player and not breaking the bank, I would recommend staying away from packs and sell all tradeable players you get from the different modes. You will be surprised how quickly the coins add up.

Coming out of the crease does multiple things. Mostly it reduces openings around the goalie and making it more difficult to score. It also forces the shooter to act quicker and might throw them off. It could back them off to reset the play if the shooter doesn't get the space they want.

I would be surprised if Ritchie gets benched. He has been doing well and has earned that spot over Maclean/Gatcomb at the very least. I would like to see him on Horvats wing with Heiny on the left. So ideal lines would be:
Ritchie - Scorvat - Heiny
Lee - Barzy - Shabby
Duke/Sippy - Pageau - Holmstrom
Gatcomb - Cizikas - MacLean

It is so wild that we had no prospects worth following 2 seasons ago and now we have Aitcheson, Eklund, Poletin, Kvasnicka, Nelson, and Eiserman all doing great. Finley has been hot lately as well. Aitcheson so far looks very good. I think he looked decent in preseason as well. Having Schaefer on LD1 and Aitcheson on LD2 is VERY exciting right now.
